In a big enough time frame outliers are always gonna happen. I am afraid you are subject of a stastical anomaly Bovakian

Interesting to hear indeed if you have a physio though.

And great updates again this week. Love reading them. I got indeed two massive season deciding games against 10-1 opponents coming up. The three games after that I should be favorite and I finish season with a BOT which is not fun.

It is interesting how open many divisions still are. I think Thunder 1 has definitely become more competitive. We lost some big teams but it has helped it make a more interesting division.

Bridges @ Alligators - Both teams are 10-1 and second in their divisions and need to win to keep up the heat on their division leaders

Before they became the Bridges, the team was known as The Green Machine. A very competitive team who I always lost to except when I played them in the play offs. There I never lost to them. But the name alone gives me shivers.

I have never played Bridges so hopefully they did not keep the juju that Green Machine had over me in league games.

Should be a very good game though, that is guaranteed!

WTF another 3 injuries. I don't f****** believe it. This time includes my #1 QB but luckily his is a short one, but does include my senior OL for 2 weeks.

Never ever had a season where injuries keep popping up nearly every other training season, so I'm now laying odds that I get another couple of injuries if not next Wednesday on a week on Sunday.... 20 plus injuries in a season is that fair??????? I am now on 13 it is starting to get close only having over 60 players in the squad is probably helping I would pity anyone who has 55 or less and got this many injuries in a season.

Do you pay for a physiotherapist? It would be interesting to know whether that might correlate to the number of injuries you have?

Had physio and other staff except facility manager since I started this team. Maybe in previous seasons I have been luckier than most and now this season my luck has run out.

It is clear that the spirit of Green Machine carried over into Bridges' team. My run game was going nowhere. What a defensive effort by Bridges! I had no right winning this game and I got nowhere near either

Back to the drawing board I think. Trying to have a very strong run game is not very successful and it's too risky if you end up in a game like this.

Would be a nice addition by the way if you could have a condition in play book that says if yards per rush is less than say 3 yards, switch to my pass heavy playbook.

But let's not distract from a very dominant performance by Willemstad Bridges!

Dumplings Weekly Review 18th July

My big game prediction was Bridges @ Alligators which Bridges won 35:14. This game was noticeable for Bridges scoring twice on 4th down attempts from the 2 and 3 yard lines. As Alligators already mentioned in this thread they were stuffed on the run going for only 89 yards all game. Will these teams get a chance to meet again in the playoffs?

Xu Da gave their playoff hopes a big boost by beating Bolts 49:38 in a wild shoot out. Xu Da scored all their points in the first three quarters with their QB going 18 of 25 for 347 yards 4 TD and 1 Interception against a Bolts defence who had previously only conceded at most 27 points in a game.

So now we have 4 teams who sit at 11-1

BIG GAME match to watch:
Centurions @ Wild Thangs - Both teams are division leaders and looking for another win to get closer to making the playoffs

with the win over the Duluth Eskimos, I am changing my prediction on one conference, Inbhir Narann will win that one over the Kokomo Mantis! Inbhir Narann (although he says he is not playing to win) sure is playing well this season!

If that’s the case I really hope we don’t meetup in the playoffs!

All three fourth downs went to my Bridges today, a couple of different outcomes on those and it’s a very different score.

Winning the division will be nice, but anymore than that would require me to do a playbook.

Out of the 4 remaining matches I have a chance to probably win or loose them all it can easily go either way, while both Mantis and Patriots are guaranteed at least 1 if not 2 wins of their last 4.

We'll see what his wages look like when he has re negotiated all contacts for his players after his initial success ;-)

No but it is indeed very impressive. Might have to scout his team properly!
