With 2 games to go in the season, here is a run down of the state of the playoffs:
AC - Here are the standings, as division leaders always take the top 4 spots: 1- Thunder Bolts 12-2 (PD 471) 2- Wolflings 12-2 (PD 314) 3- Deflators 11-3 (PD 331) (Clinched Division) 4- Rome Centurions 11-3 (PD 299) 5- Kalapana Wild Thangs 12-2 (PD 422) 6- Xu Da 10-4 (PD 303) needing some help to make the playoffs: 7- Colonel Mustard Moustache Men 10-4 (PD 198) 8- Duluth Eskimos 9-5 (PD 213) NC - Here are the standings, as division leaders always take the top 4 spots: 1- Norfolk Dumplings 13-1 (PD 506) 2- Norfolk Destroyers 13-1 (PD 412) 3- Inbhir Narann 9-5 (PD 191) 4- Valiant Pinoys 7-7 (PD 103) **will only qualify as division winner 5- Willemstad Bridges 12-2 (PD 386) 6- Amersfoort Alligators 10-4 (PD 192) needing some help to make the playoffs: 7- RC Frogs 9-5 (PD 228) 8- Kokomo Mantis 8-6 (PD 153) 9- Totoras Patriots 8-6 (PD 78) **may only qualify as division winner due to PD 10- Spitting Llamas 5-9 (PD -21) **will only qualify as division winner 11- Nashville Renegades 5-9 (PD -273) **will only qualify as division winner **notes, Spitting Llamas looks like they still have an outside chance at winning that division, but Nashville Renegades probably need removed due to their PD. They would need 2 blowout wins, and not sure they can even make that PD up with the maximum they can get. Anything is possible if the Pinoys and Llamas get blownout too though. |

Dumplings Weekly Review 28th July
My big game prediction was Dumplings @ Wolflings - Following relegation from Elite last season the Dumplings lost their all-star FB to retirement. However Bryan Hand has stepped up and behind a great offensive line today rushed for another 93 yards and 2 touchdowns as Dumplings won out 35:26 Congratulations everyone who has made the playoffs so far and also thanks to Tpal70 for his weekly playoff analysis. BIG GAME match of the AC to watch: Bolts @ Wild Thangs BIG GAME match of the NC to watch: Destroyers @ Bridges Both games can decide who will be the division winners and playoff seedings |

AC - Here are the standings, as division leaders always take the top 4 spots: 1- Thunder Bolts 13-2 (PD 531) (in playoffs, but haven't clinched division) 2- Rome Centurions 12-3 (PD 359) (Clinched Division) 3- Wolflings 12-3 (PD 305) (Clinched Division) 4- Deflators 11-4 (PD 321) (Clinched Division) 5- Kalapana Wild Thangs 13-2 (PD 436) (in playoffs, but tied with Thunder Bolts) 6- Xu Da 11-4 (PD 363) needing some help to make the playoffs: (note, even if teams below end up tied with Xu Da, their PD may not be enough to get them in the playoffs....but won't leave them off yet) 7- Duluth Eskimos 10-5 (PD 223) 8- Colonel Mustard Moustache Men 10-5 (PD 173) NC - Here are the standings, as division leaders always take the top 4 spots: 1- Norfolk Dumplings 14-1 (PD 515) (Clinched Division) 2- Norfolk Destroyers 14-1 (PD 440) (in playoffs) 3- Inbhir Narann 9-6 (PD 183) 4- Valiant Pinoys 7-8 (PD 75) (Clinched Division) 5- Willemstad Bridges 13-2 (PD 416) (in playoffs) 6- Amersfoort Alligators 11-4 (PD 199) (Yes, as stated, plays a BOT, so clinched playoff spot due to guaranteed win....as long as they don't play on relaxed setting) needing some help to make the playoffs: 7- Kokomo Mantis 9-6 (PD 157) 8- Totoras Patriots 9-6 (PD 86) Notes from the NC...only thing not wrapped up is the NC South with 3 teams all tied for the division lead. Kokomo and Totoras play each other, and Inbhir plays Vicious Attack Dogs. Winner of the Kokomo and Totoras will end up with a 10-6 record, so the pressure is on Inbhir to win this last game. Previous results this season: Inbhir Narann 20, Vicious Attack Dogs 13 Kokomo Mantis 27, Totoras Patriots 17 |
