Midseason look at the teams street wise heroes.
PASSING QB Johnny Blackwell of the Bradford bulls is the current golden arm leader with 2,954 yards as the Bull are one of the front runners for a trip to the elite league. QB Kamil Shareef of the Black Panthers with 2,391 yards in 2nd. QB Rod Cheatham of the MK Saints with 2,388 in 3rd CATCHING TE Bradford Lin of the Bradford Bulls has 836 catching yards more than any wide receiver. His parents are overjoyed with their choice of naming him after the Bulls. 2nd place WR Konrad Schmid also of the Bulls with 707 yards shows who the main targets are for QB Johnny Blackwell. WR Issac Marvin of the Midnight Marauders with 696 yards in 3rd RUSHING RB Abedi Mulisa "the Rwanda missile" is the outstanding rusher with 2,146 yards for the DA Raiders. He is unstoppable as he runs all over the opposition. 2nd is RB Orazio Maggi of the Osler Rotties with 893 yards. 3rd is RB Timmy McLean of the Bradford Bulls with 857 yards SACKING LB Sang-Ki Romanel of the Home Malones and Krystian Reyes of the Letaidans are joint leaders with 13 sackers each. LB Nico Krause of the Home Malones is 3rd with 11 sacks. TACKLES FOR LOSS DL Adan Ruiz with 25 and DL Bogusz Mrozowski with 24 are both with the Poznan Knights and love causing havoc in the backfield. 3rd place is DL Pero Quint of the Black Panthers with 23 TFL's PANCAKES Burnaby Bruiser lead the pancake race with 1,630, Torchwood Aliens are a close 2nd with1,564 and Berinsfield Hornets are in 3rd with 1,555. INTERCEPTIONS LB Fillipo Dogan of the Burnaby Bruisers has the sixth sense of spotting the ball with 8 interceptions. LB Ismail Sam of the Royal Roosters is 2nd with 6 interceptions. FIELD GOALS Florent Shameel of the Royal Roosters has 24 field goals completed. 2nd is Gabriel Mace of the Hummingbirds with 21 FG's I know there are 9 bot teams in the league and the stats will be distorted, but its just a game so chill out and have fun.  |

Games to watch
We got 3 this week as the race to the playoffs starts to get interesting. Osler Rotties (6-3) vs DA Raiders (7-2) Both teams are 2nd in their divisions and will be looking for a win to make sure of a playoff position. The Rotties passing game is working well and will be a test for the Raiders pass defense. QB Manibazika has over 2.000 yards and doesn't favour any one receiver, so this will be hard for the Raiders backfield to cover. The Raiders have an impressive run game and like to control the clock while marching down the field. RB Mulisa "the Rwanda Missile" is tearing up the yards as he runs all over opposition defenses. Both defenses are good, but they will have to be at their best for this game, I think it will be a high scoring game with the DA Raiders getting the win, but only just. Torchwood Aliens (7-2) vs Letaidans (8-1) The Aliens will be looking to bounce back after the embarrassing loss the Hornets last week and probably didn't want want the in form Letaidans QB Forrest for the Aliens has 2,078 passing yards and QB Ramsey for Letaidans has 2,036 yards. This could be an epic aerial battle, as two QB's flex their arms and show who is the boss. RB Gajic is the rushing option for the Letaidans which could be difference as the Aliens seem to struggle against teams with a run option. RB Brenner for the Aliens is a mediocre rusher who needs more of the ball to make fans take notice. The Letaidans defense is better than the Aliens and will make it tough for them the get close to the endzone. I think they will win this and show the league they are here to stay. Pheonix Hummingbirds (3-6) vs Hemet Hooligans (2-7) Two teams who are trying hard, but struggling this season, so this will be a good test for both as they look to learn what it takes to win. QB McCartney for the Hooligans has 964 yards and QB Hay for the Hummingbirds has 922 yards, so this game could see both QB's break the 1,000 yards barrier. TE Agnew for the Hooligans is the go to guys for QB McCartney and could be the difference between the 2 teams. The Hummingbirds linebackers will need to cover the short passing game. I think this will be a good game to watch, 2 teams who are getting better and learning every week. I will give it to the Hooligans, but only if TE Agnew has a good game. This is just my opinion and is purely for fun |

Games to watch
MK Saints (6-5) vs Poznan Knights (8-3) AC North encounter sees the Saints needing a win to keep their hopes of a playoff spot and have a tough game against the impressive knights. We will see a battle of the golden arms as QB Cheatham of the Saints with 2,883 passing yards looks to out throw QB Zagorski of the Knights who has 2,765 yards. QB Zargorski does have the edge in the red zone with 50 pass TD's against QB Cheathams 29 pass TD's. The Knights have a massive run game yardage advantage with RB Zmuda who has over 1,000 rush yards. The Knights have the better defensive line with Ruiz, Suski and Mrozowski causing offensive lines major problems. The Knights will win this and probably end the Saints playoff chances, but I think the Saints will be a force next season. Osler Rotties (7-4) vs Home Malones (10-1) NC West clash as the Rotties will be looking for a win to make the playoffs, the Home Malones are looking to make a statement they are ready for the elite league. QB Manibazika of the Rotties with 2,262 pass yards has the better attack over QB Jensen of the Home Malones with 1,454 yards. RB Maggi of the Rotties has 1,262 rush yards and is showing the balanced attack of the Rotties, RB Coons of the Home Malones only has 785 yards The Rotties has a tough game against the Home Malones, but I think they will get the win, but it will be a very close game Last edited on 2020-10-08 08:01:56 by kharton99 |

Games to watch
Burnaby Bruisers (11-1) vs Berinsfield Hornets (11-1) The clash of the season as the Bruisers and Hornets meet to see who will win the NC East. Both are going to the playoffs, but divisional winner will be bragging rights for the fans. QB Marion of the Bruisers has 2,269 passing yards and has the edge over QB Roper of the Hornets with 1,983 yards. The Hornets switched to a more passing game as the QB rush attack was probing difficult for the QB's. RB Musa has 932 rush yards for the Bruisers and assisted by RB Prieto with 748 yards. The Hornets have RB Quinlan with 665 yards and RB Archuleta with 659 yards. Both offensive line are showing their class with the Bruisers 2,097 pancakes and the Hornets 2,058 pancakes. They are 1 and 2 in the league. Both defenses are causing teams problems, DL Frey for the Hornets with 7 sacks and SF Tamanisau of the Bruisers with 6 sacks. CB Kozlar of the Bruisers has 5 defensive TD's and DL Wiles of the Hornets has 28 tackles for a loss. This will be a tight battle and will be a close score, I will predict a win for the Hornets as the history goes with me, but this could be the time for the Bruisers. Midnight Marauders (11-1) vs Rosler Rotties (7-5) The Marauders will take the NC North and maybe stop the Rotties from making the playoffs. Marauders have the edge in the passing game as QB Drost with 3,441 yards and QB Manibazika of the Rotties has 2,487. Both teams like the aerial game and this will test both teams backfields. RB Maggi of the Rotties has 1,280 rush yards and will look to pound the Marauders defensive line. RB Navavia of the Marauders has 588 yards. LB Dorfmeister for the Rotties has 11 sacks and this will prove the offense of the Marauders problems as they try to pick up the blitz. LB Caldwell of the Marauders has 6 interceptions and will look for any mistakes by the Rotties. Stats favour the Marauders and I being a coward will go with a Marauders win. |

AC 1 - Letaidans 12-1 2 - Bradford Bulls 12-1 3 - Torchwood Aliens 10-3 4 - Poznan Knights 10-3 5 - DA Raiders 10-3 6 - Eastern Wolves 8-5 (bot) 7 - MK Saints 7-6 8 - Florida Gators 6-7 9 - West Greatish Warriors 6-7 (bot) Letaidans and Bulls will get byes in the playoffs with Aliens, Knights and Raiders also in the playoffs. MK Saints need some luck to overcome the Wolves for the last spot. Gators and Warriors are still in with a chance, but it looks unlikely. NC 1 - Paxtang Black Panthers 13-0 2 - Berinsfield Hornets 12-1 3 - Home Malones 12-1 4 - Midnight Marauders 11-2 5 - Burnaby Bruisers 11-2 6 - Osler Rotties 8-5 7 - SARMIS 7-6 8 - KAFakofers 6-7 9 - Rheydter Royal Roosters 6-7 Black Panthers and Hornets are currently on the bye, but Home Malones are only 11 points behind the Hornets and could jump over them. Marauders and Bruisers have a certain spot. The Rotties are the best of the rest and look favourites to make the 6th playoff spot. |

Games to watch
Home Malones (13-1) vs Burnaby Bruisers(12-2) Home Malones have taken the NC West division and will want to make sure they get the bye week with a win. The Bruisers will have something to say about this as they need a win to keep the Hornets at bay. Season 38 saw the 2 teams meet twice and both teams won at home. This will be very close, the Bruisers have the edge by playing at home so I will go with a Bruisers win, but I hope they lose. Paxtang Black Panthers (14-0) vs Midnight Marauders (12-2) The Black Panthers are the undefeated team in the league and will be looking for a trip to the elite league. The Marauders have won the NC North and may rest some stars for the playoffs. This could be a tight game, but I think the Black Panthers will get win number 15. Poznan Knights (11-3) vs Letaidans (13-1) The Knights won the AC North and Letaidans won the AC West, so both teams are playing for bragging rights. The Letaidans are the dark horse of the league with an impressive display, but a division of bots does make it easier. A good game to watch between 2 of the new boys and I will go with the Letaidans for the win. |

MK Saints need to win against the Hooligans, if they lose and the Wolves beat the Warriors, the Wolves will get spot 6. NC 1 - Home Malones 14-1 2 - Paxtang Black Panthers 14-1 3 - Berinsfield Hornets 13-2 4 - Midnight Marauders 13-2 5 - Burnaby Bruisers 12-3 6 - Osler Rotties 10-5 7 - SARMIS 9-6 Home Malones have number 1 spot, but they play the Rotties and if they lose, then 3 teams will be 14-2 (Hornets and Marauders both play bots) and will go down to PD. The Rotties get in if they beat the Home Malones or if SARMIS loses to the Weekenders. SARMIS get the 6th spot if they win and the Rotties lose. (they will have to overcome the 100 PD too) |
