I love the competitiveness of our division especially now Kevin and Jonatan have developed their teams to make this division the closest in Thunder, but with me there are two reasons why my team will not go much further.

1) I do not have the enthusiasm to sit down and really develop a playbook except for the partial one I have now which I amend once in awhile.

2) I will not let my player wage budget get to 4 million, so I will never have the strength and depth to be competitive in the SC, but will be strong enough to challenge for Thunder play offs nearly every season.

This is unlikely to change as most of you know I have no interest in playing in the Elite league. So expect me to remain a challenge in Thunder for, hopefully, another 10 to 12 seasons.

Is this a philosophy you don't want to stray from or just an innate fear of bankruptcy (you surely are a frugal scot after all I suspect )

The Alligators will at least play one more match to extend their illustrious career just a little bit. We did beat Pinoys handily during the regular season so we would have to be the favorites.

Dumplings big match reviews of 27th October:

Alligators 26:6 Destroyers - The Alligators repeated their week 12 result and also continued on to a 6 game undefeated run in the league. The Alligator defence was outstanding allowing just 2 FGs in the 4th Qtr.

Eskimos 9:34 Deflators - A dominating performance from Deflators RB Kovac powered the offence with 182 rushing yards and 4 TDs whilst the defence restricted the Eskimos to just 3 FGs.

Wild Thangs 37:31 Xu Da - Trailing by 1 pt with 2.05 left on the clock the Wild Thangs completed an 80yd pass for a TD and seal the win. Xu Da no doubt affected by the thumbs down coaching penalty for passing a combined 33 times (rushing once) out of just the Big I and Goalline formations.

Attack Dogs 30:17 Mantis - These NC South foes had met twice already this season with both wins for Mantis however the playoffs brought out the best in the Attack Dogs who move on to the next round. The outcome was in the balance until the 4th Qtr when the Attack Dogs added a TD and a FG and stopped Mantis on a 4th down.

Divisional Playoff Round:

Alligators @ Pinoys - Played in week 15 and Alligators won 41:17 at home
Deflators @ Wolflings - Haven't met this season
Wild Thangs @ Juggernaut - Haven't met this season
Attack Dogs @ Dumplings - Haven't met this season

I wonder if this was an unintended play book mishap?

My offense just could not do anything at all today. Perfect game planning Attack Dogs. I did only limit you to 2 sacks, but my thumbs down rating is odd. I had equal passing and rushing, used most of my playbook, so not sure what happened there.

In previous games, I was able to do well running the ball, so I did put a few more running plays into the playbook for today. Those DID NOT work, so I assume you changed your setting to adjust to the run today. Great plan! That D Line really has improved!

Also, I noticed something new today Kevin....your team rating is now a lot better than mine in every aspect of the game! Great job on training, but don't let that income get out of control!

Tpal70...great game. Another close battle with the difference being me scoring on both my 4th quarter possessions. I think you ran the ball well with over 100 yards and a 4.4 average. Both our teams played a less than stellar passing game, scored off turnovers, and didn't convert on third downs. The biggest difference was my running game was even better than yours.

Not sure what my SF was doing today. He missed 3 tackles including one that lead to that bomb play. ....he only missed 2 all season and I believe only 1 or 2 last season.

As far as training, not many of my players are over 40 yet. My first franchise player is in his last year of that contract and will demand a nice salary with 45 skills. But my fist ever draft pick is just now hitting 40 skills as I believe in balanced training. All my first draftees and YA players are hitting that mark at the same time...finally. Some will never hit 40 as they are backups. Others will stop around 42 and 43.

I just noticed that our own Xu Da is the biggest player trader in the whole of RZA:

Top 100 Player Traders

He must be sitting on a mountain of cash!
