You know what else might be a decent idea? Each D1 league elects an ambassador every season that routinely reaches out to their corresponding D2 league. You might just figure on doing it yourself, but making it public that this is an expectation, and that it's for the noble cause of maintaining/expanding our user base, might make everyone more conscious and creative about reaching out to new people. If I was in D2, and just starting out, I might really look forward to my next season if I knew half a dozen GMs before I even got to D1.
Just a thought. |

@Pete, can we enable new manager notifications for say Thunder 2 for Thunder 1 managers. When I was Thunder 2 I got them and I would send them a welcome message but now I don't see who has joined (and I don't remember to check).
At least one guy (turnturnturn, he won Thunder 1 bowl last season) remembered the message and the positive impact it had. |

If you hit the "Who Is Online" entry under the Forums tab, it already shows the most recent like (1-5) managers or so, maybe just expand the list there and make it all new managers for the past week, rather than just (I think) the last day or two?

Clearly my post on the French forum did not have the impact I was hoping for. Only a few persons read it and I did not see any French subscription since.
