It's quite hard to do the SoS and you have to make it based on ELO which can be problematic. We used to have a great 3rd party site out there called rzbeckos which made predictions based on ELO. Sadly he has disappeared without trace. It seems a bit hard to do it from the scratch. But I was not thinking about ELO but in the ongoing record on the league. I have two 10-1 teams ahead and a 5-6, a 4-7 and 1-10 teams. This is a 30-25 sum which means a 0.545 SoS. |

But you know the record only now so you mean a SoS in hindsight. That would be interesting indeed. I will park it somewhere in my brain...who knows

You could have a spreadsheet where you copy and paste the league table into one tab, which has each team's Pct on it, then on the second tab have a Vlookup equation in one column going down 16 rows or in a table) so you can paste a teams opponents next to it and it will give you their Pct, then have it set to divide by the total of games played?

Hmm I think it works. I asked about such a tool because it would be more simple with an already implemented one. When I get some time I will try to build it. |

Same here against the Paladins. I do not know how I managed to make a comeback with my QB being 8/19 in passes.

Post season is about to come. One more league match to play and some situations to be resolved on Saturday.
On the AC, Lisbon Seacrows (10-5) and Viper (9-6) are fighting for the last playoff berth. Despite having a better record, the Seacrows are not the favorite to take this last spot as they are going to have a tough divisional confrotation agains Tampa Bay Bandits (13-2) who are still fighting for #2 seed against Rio Stars (13-2). On the other hand, the Vipers will face RSV ReĆ¼hl (3-12) that has nothing to fight for until the relegation game. On NC we will need to wait until last game to know the North and South champions. Juggernaut Jackalopes (11-4) and Moraira Moors (11-4) are already confirmed on the playoffs but are fighting for the NC North title and probably the #2 seed. On the NC South the scenario is quite similar: Trnava Saints (10-5) and the surprising Blakedown Bolts (10-5) are in the title run but not yet on playoffs as Budapest Janitors (9-6) still have some chances on it. There is also some drama on the bottom of the battle as Lagos Marines (2-13) - after an unexpected OT win over QUACK ATTACK (7-8) in the last game - still have a chance to survive (for a while) from relegation. Due to a bad PD they need a win against Paladins (7-8) to surpass the botted Olympic Wildcats (2-13) and clinch the relegation match. Not easy but not impossible if we consider that Paladins have nothing to fight for (and that a loss may be positive for draft purposes). Let's see how things go on January 16th. Good luck to all! |
