Hey guys! Next week we will have our draft so this is time to talk about it a little bit. In last season I have fully (or kind of) analyzed the class position by position. it was quite fun but took a loooong time to do. Now I will try something even more difficult (or quite impossible): prepare a mock draft. Let's see how terrible this will be?

Pick 1 - Oregon Pioneers (bot): CB Avital Saltiman
And it starts in the worst way possible: predicting a bot team pick. I have no idea if the former manager had prepared the board or not. So I tried to make a guess based on my original downloaded board. And Avital Saltiman appears as the first name. Lucky of him as he is far from being a first pick despite his average skills may grant an eventual first round. |

Pick 2 - Underachieving Steamrollers: QB Michel Ouon
What to expect from a minimum-sized-roster team? He lack players on every position so it is hard to predict what he may go for. But based on player age I would choose one of the youngest players. And Michel Ouon has the best matchup: 18 yo and a lot of talent. Probably one of the most skilled of his age. |

Pick 3 - MK Bears: LB Toto Connors
And here the things start to get serious. The Bears have drafted 2 CB and a SF last season. If he keeps with the trend, a LB should be an option. And Toto Connors is the best guy. Not only amomg the LB but probably overall in this board. A perfect match. |

Pick 4 - Lagos Marines: LB Vishon Angus
The Marines are in an opposite situation: they have too many players on all positions. This makes a bit difficult to imagine where they need to strengthen. The best player available strategy may be the easy solution here. And Vishon Angus is the guy. He could be converted for multiple defensive positions so drafting him is worth it. |

Pick 5 - Olympic Wildcats (bot): CB Luciano Manama
Again, a bot prediction. Using the random guess described before the next name is of Manama, a young and poorly talented CB. He would be a 2nd rounder but bots have no idea of what they are doing (and probably me too). |

Pick 6 - RSV Reühl: TE Braulio Ramírez
With only 3 TE on the roster and one of they being a veteran (30+ yo) it is supposed to be a nice idea to draft a back up. And why not to say a future star? Ramírez is one of the best guys on the board and deserve an early pick. Reühl seems to be the place for him. |

Pick 7 - Zürich Moneybags: OL Bassam Hamdan
The swiss team may be a bit disappointed with the last pick as they are in a similar situation on TE. But they are also struggling with OL and need new starters for the position. Hamdan is the most capable "plug & play" solution for the Moneybags. Not fantastic but surely the best name to fit their needs. |

Pick 8 - Southshore Shocks: RB Juraj Filipovic
This team has nice and skilled players already. He could easily go for a best player available approach but I think he may aim at a RB. Last season they picked one on the second round but he is no longer on their squad. To aid the rotation in the future I think Filipovic will be the choice. I do not like drafted RBs but this one may do great things for the right team. |

Pick 9 - Nottingham Outlaws: DL Rudy Kalinowski
Continuing with the predictions we have a team that is always aware of the best options on the draft. Looking for a great player and covering its roster needs my guess is that Rudy Kalinowski may be the right deal here. But we must be aware of a possible BPA approach for the next LB of the list too. |
