Only two Players retirements: WR3 and DE2. Not that bad.

But two coaches will retire too and I may change them during the season.

By the way, I know Pete said several times that a coach does not have to retire at 60, but both were 60, like the 3 previous ones I had reaching this age.

If anyone needs a competitive WR, I have two on sale. If you want to know the reason fo the sale, look at the media center. I have put the max of what I have.

My job in the Mediacenter is done. My goal is to survive and stay on Elite. Pretty though.

Welcome to season 42 everyone! Much to Sea Devil's delight Rufio is back for another round!

Welcome to seasoned vets and to the handful of first timers. I even get to participate in ranking myself, which is always fantastic.

Here we have the preseason rankings and the teams at the top should be no surprise, and if you aren't at the top don't worry. I've been known to get things wrong, right Dumbarajko?

1. (15-1) Salt City Pirates (1) Divisional Round
LuLuBa's Pirates have reached an 89 rating and have got to be the favorite to come out of the NC. A surprising early exit from the playoffs has the team hungry to get back to adding trophies.

2. (12-4) Willemstad Bridges (3) League Champion
"there's no way Triple Turn can continue that amount of luck." Unless they face a near bot team in the AC championship game and the top 2 seeds of the NC get knocked out before the NC championship game. With the AC getting even weaker how's a three-peat sounding?

3. (15-1) DC Washingtonians (2) Divisional Round
Sea Devil's fans (Kanar) are gonna go wild halfway through these rankings. DC is still the class of the region, but how will the rumors of a team relocation affect morale? There's no way they match 15-1 with this division schedule but they'll still be doing postseason stuff, hopefully better than last season.

4. (14-2) Chelt Nam Bobbers (7) NC Conference Champion
Not only did Jonny bring back excellent writing with Blowing Smoke, but he rode that success all the way to the Elite Bowl, where he ran into the buzzsaw that is the Bridges. No reason to think this team will take a step back, but the NC is even more competitive this season.

5. (12-4) Home Malones (6) Conference Runner-up
A surprise NC championship game participant, the Malones were the main improvement of the Monarchs wresting the top region mantle from the Sea Devils.

6. (16-0) Baltimore Ravens (-) Sea Devils Champ
And here is our first newcomer ranked.... at 6. Your back to back Supercup champions and losers of just 1 game last season. The Ravens will challenge for the division and wild card berth.

7. (16-0) The Masked Ducks (-) Sea Devils Runner-up
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, another Sea Devil team, this'll really get the chatter going in their forum. The temporarily (again) renamed Ducks (With an amazing stadium name) only lost 2 games all season, both to the Ravens. They will need to top the Ravens or Malones to make the postseason.

8. (14-2) San Diego Blitz (4) Wildcard Round
Steve's Blitz is now the only team that has been in elite every season of it's existence. There's no reason to think his domination of Galaxy will end this season. Blitz fans are hoping to turn their consistent regular season success into postseason success where they haven't gotten a win since season 37. I changed almost none of this intro since the opening of last season.

9. (12-4) TigerCats (8) Divisional Round
With the Kids gone, with skeetz ascend to the #2 spot behind the Bridges and challenge them? Their matches over the last couple seasons have been quite one-sided.

10.(11-5) Social Distance Runners (5) Wildcard Round
Rufio, are you serious? 4 Sea Devil teams in the top ten? I know, it's ridiculous, but this crazy top-heavy region would produce 4 playoff teams if they didn't cannibalize eachother in the same division. Buzi's gambling habits have the team in dire financial straits, but his team is still excellent.

11. (11-5) Rome Centurions (11) Divisional Round
Rome turned in another great season before falling to the nemesis Bridges in the playoffs. They'll get at least 2 more shots against them this year. Would be shocked if this team isn't playoff bound again.

12. (10-6) BobBoy Magpies (13) Wildcard Round
The Magpies survived the second toughest division and their rival Kids have flown an early white flag. Magpies will win Admirals by default, will they do anything in the postseason this time?

13. (10-6) Diorite Lions (12) Wildcard Round
Lions were much improved last season capturing a division title in a very competitive Claymore region. Hounds, Lion, Falcons will all be a threat in the all animals division.

14. (10-6) Hell Hounds (10)
The Hounds were shockingly consistent last season but couldn't quite pull off the playoffs losing out by just 6 PD. The Falcons should add more competitiveness to the division.

15. (9-7) Bonecrushers (14)
The Bonedomers were the surprise of the AC last season winning 6 of their last 8 to knock off the Eagles back to D1. Now they'll push for a spot in the suddenly wide open WC race.

16. (16-0) PR Chaser (-) Fire Champ
prchaser's squad comes back to Elite after a five season run ended after season 39. They will immediately challenge Bonecrusher for relegation status and a WC spot.

17. (7-9) Dumbarajko Elephants (16)
Dumbarajko had a nice rebound half season in his return to Elite, then the wheels fell off losing the last 7 games. The Elephans remained to cheer on a team that exceeded expectations and avoided relegation. Now they'll try to build on that success and make a playoff push in a very crowded NC.

18.(15-1) Norfolk Dumplings (-) Thunder Runner-up
The Dumplings are a little higher than their Runner-Up status suggests. They performed really well friendly cups and the top end of Thunder is very competitive.

19. (14-2) Saker Falcons (-) Claymore Champ
The Falcons keep bouncing back and forth between Elite and D1, both the Lions and Hounds are solid competition, but at least they all get 2 free wins.

20. (13-3) Free Agent Mascots (15) Admirals Champ
Sanco returns for his 17th season in Elite, but he hasn't avoided relegation since season 32. That changes with the Kids bowing out. The Mascots could also challenge for a WC spot, especially by getting free divisional wins.

21. (6-10) Werewolves (23)
"Ceynwyn seems to be stuck in Elite purgatory, one season up and one season down." Another example of my wrongness! She'll try to make it three straight seasons in Elite by holding off the Stars and Jacks.

22. (15-1) Juggernaut (-) Thunder Champ
inranger returns to Elite after a 2 season abscence. Had some close playoff games before blowing out the Dumplings in the championship. These 2 could make a case for the toughest division in the AC, the exact opposite of Thunder last season.

23. (14-2) Sønderborg 84-pounders (-) Admirals Runner-Up
Well, Fummer has a 12.5M player salary and his average player age is 29.1. Let's see how his team of old men fares against those youngbloods running around them. There's an opening for them or the Mascots to stick around, they'll need a different approach after the Mascots won the bowl by 2 tds.

24. (16-0) 2020 - RETURN OF THE JEDI (-) Galaxy Champ
The fighting Pete's make another Elite appearance after losing just 2 games all season. Can he keep it up and bring the Elephans run to a screeching halt?

25. (16-0) Space Kraken (-) Monarchs champ
I'm baaaaccccckkkk, free wins for everyone! Hopefully this season the Kraken is more prepared, but super unlucky cross division random picks against DC and the Bobbers plus 4 game against the Pirates and Arch-Rival Malones will have the Kraken set for relegation.

26. (11-5) Juggernaut Jackalopes (-) Dragons Champ
The Jacks return to Elite after a 1 season hiatus. With playoffs out of the question I figure the bottom 3 spots of Dragons will be wide open again and it'll be interesting to see who comes out on top.

27. (13-3) Rio Stars (-) Dragons Runner-Up
Can they challenge the Werewolves to stick around another season? They didn't play too many elite teams, but didn't get wins when they did. The team rating is very good, let's see if it translates better to gameday this season.

28. (14-2) Bretzfeld Bandits (-) Galaxy Runner-up
Didn't fare well against Elite teams last season (only beating the Knights), but did play the Ducks very tough in the Supercup playoffs.

29. (14-2) Poznan Knights (-) Monarchs Runner-Up
Survived some postseason scares to make it to Elite for the first time, but this division and conference are brutal for rookies. They'll be more prepared in a couple seasons with many up and coming Monarch teams.

30. (12-4) BETIS SANPOL (-) Fire Runner-up
What is it with the Fire runner-up teams yelling all the time? BETIS rode some incredible luck and forced a manager into retirement with a bunch of turnovers and a last second long FG to make the Fire championship game.

31. (15-1) Helsinki Gangsters (-) Claymore Runner-up
Henry decided to completely reset his team after some financial difficulty a season ago. He'll use this opportunity for a top draft pick so he's hoping for a top end stud for this season.

32. (11-5) Comeback Kids (9) Conference Runner-up
Hopefully markupst logs in and is simply going to reload the team, otherwise this will be a bot and the AC will lose another solid manager.
