You could, but it's harder to achieve now - at least it is if you want players to substitute in during the game.

In season 3 there was there was no 'starter' tick in the Depth chart. That was a later addition. Previously you'd just list all the players you were willing to play at OT, and you'd know the best available OT was always lining up against the opponent's 2nd best DE.

With the 'attack left' loophole firmly closed, season 4 promised to be more open and even. However the powerhouses of the NC continued their dominance, with the Lucea cardinals rising to the very top of the pile in week 16 with a shocking trouncing of the mighty Marsz. The only NC division in any doubt was the East, where the Piskots and Paradise Regained were tightly locked.

Over in the AC a new star was shining brightly, the Nova Gorica Gamblers (who were later to become the Gotham City Bats) continued to show the form of season 3. Behind them London Silk performed well, but a heavy defeat to the Cardinals gave an indication of where the next best in the AC was in comparison to the might of the NC.

The playoffs did NOT go to form. Marsz exacted their revenge on the Cardinals in the Division Round, and my Celtics fell in a surprise defeat to the Piskots, who then lost by a solitary point to Marsz in the NC Championship game. The Gamblers were the ones to benefit, they faced a tired Marsz team in the Bowl and secured the 1st of their titles....

Despite all the strength in the NC, it was now 2 Bowl successes for the AC, with just 1 for the NC.
