To established teams a lot of draft players are busts and they will fire them straightaway.
All I'm asking for is to put them on transfer market for 3 days and then fire if not sold. The reason is that for young teams a lot of these players can be cheap additions to a new squad who then also improve the team without a lot of salary (like veteran players). It is kind of like mimicking the undrafted rookie scenario in NFL |

Another option is firing them and turning them in free agent in the roster history.

Sorry, but the reality is, that most managers can estimate the selling chances.
I did put a lot of my drafties for sale and they did not get an offer, so I do fire them now if I think they wil not sell. |

but then put them for sale once. It won't harm you expect for maybe one salary payment. I have a new team and I look forward to draft time to bolster my squad. Draftees are players you normally don't see on TM I believe. young, cheap and trainable.
Most indeed will not get sold and then fire them for sure. But for many a few players a happy career waits for them elsewhere |

But for many a few players a happy career waits for them elsewhere As said, normally I do that, but I have a good feeling what can be sold and what not. And sometimes the space on the roster is needed. And don't forget, every day players from the players-pool, some sort of free agent pool, are send to the market, including once fired drafties and including new generated players, in draft quality. So as new team, chances are very high now, that you can get a lot of good players over the season. |
