Hello Elite!
I am JV from Monarchs 1 and for our league I have created a Power Rankings system that has been in use for most of last season. It's really just a fun way to get a picture of the league and compare statistics with the different teams. I wanted to bring it to Elite partly because I think you'll find it valuable/interesting and partly because it soothes my own curiosity. I also hope to find myself on this list someday.... I have a specific formula used to calculate a "score" for any given team and it uses the win pct, Point differential, Overall rank (Offense and Defense stats) and Strength of Schedule. Stats are collected in the "Statistical Leaders" page and League table which includes looking at the games of week to determine opponent's win percentage and defense yards allowed. Since only 2 games have been played it looks a bit rough right now but after 4-5 weeks and teams separate further and more data is collected, it'll be more representative of the league. And now imagine taking your team to No 1, coming back from position 29, this will be quite an accomplishment ! Congratulations for bringing down the champion in week 2 ! |
