Monarchs friendly cup season 43 is now full and will start on Sunday 18th
Apologies to the Bulls as you were the 9th team to apply and so missed out. Groups are as follows : Group 1 Hummingbirds Hornets Hawks Oilers Group 2 Saints Black Panthers Knights Space Kraken The cup is in power mode, so good luck all I will look at maybe increasing the cup to 16 teams next time if enough teams are interested. |

Game week 1
Hummingbirds vs Oilers : An impressive display by the Hummingbirds as they crushed the Oilers 41-10. The Oilers defense did cause some problems with 6 sacks, but they proved ineffective on offense and struggled to score. Hornets vs Hawks : The Hornets managed a 4th quarter rally to win 38-27 against the Hawks. The crowd were witness to a back and forth game as both sides wanted the win, but the Hawks were unlucky to lose this as they ran out of steam. Saints vs Black Panthers : The Saints kept the Black Panthers to just a field goal for the first as they looked to win this game, but lost 12-38 as the Black Panthers came out for the second half on fire. Knights vs Space Kraken : The match of the day game proved to be a one sided affair as the Space Kraken crushed the Knights 0-40. They are now look to be the bookies favourite to win the tournament. |

I will try and start a friendly cup for each season. I'm not sure there are enough active players to make it 16 teams though. so you will have to be quick at applying. |
