I don't know if this is thread for this kind of topic, but I will try it.
I just watched "American underdog". What a story of Kurt Warner. Didn't liked that guy, but after this movie there are no words to describe him. My favorite and No 1 at this kind of movies chart is "Greater", amazing true story about Brandon Burlsworth. Also watched and can recommend to you guys The blind side We are Marshall The express Friday night lights Remember the Titans My all american Any given sunday When the game stands tall Do you have any suggestions? |

The Program shows the college level and some of the struggles players go through.
Varsity Blues is a little Juvenile but I've been told by people I know that live in Texas it isn't too far from the truth about how high school football in small towns works. Invincible is just a feel good underdog story. Draft Day (I found it entertaining) and the story focuses around the draft. I guess there is the obligatory Rudy. lol |

Draft day is also good, but no football playing in it 😀 Rudy - please no, didn't like, although a true story. The program didn't watch. |

There is Gr id Ir on Gang based on true story (Peter, this auto sub is anoying)
And there is the netflix series Last Chance U, with 5 seasons, covering in total 3 jucos Home Team is new based on Paytons suspension season when he coached his sons team, unfortunatelly Made into a Kevin James Comedy film Jerry Maguire is More a Sport-agents film Found Paterno, based on the Penn State Coach, but don‘t know the quality. Jerry Maguire is very good, Cuba got Oscar for that role, but it is more like lemonade to me. Woodlawn seems good (just saw trailer). I just downloaded three more: 12 Mighty orphans Safety Under the stadium lights So lots of american football movie watching next week for me. |

More serious: Concussion (2015) The Longest Yard (1974, featuring several real-life football players) Just for fun: Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994, featuring Dan Marino!!!) Gus (1976 Disney movie, featuring Johnny Unitas and Dick Butkus) @Dumbarajko: you can't miss the last one, a yugoslavian donkey becoming all-pro kicker!
