Here's another. I have this young guy with 50 Speed and the Track Star trait, 38.3 INT, 40.5 Strength. I figure its either WR or CB. My question is, with 50 SP and Track Star, where would that combo be most useful, WR or CB? Thanks!

Rolland Gorman

I just drafted a QB in the draft, 5*, 50Int, Ball manager, so I know not ideal on the traits without natural leader/strong arm, and sadly a yellow ! on speed at 39.4, Is it worth trying to build around this QB as my QB of the future as a new player? Will it depend on when his strength caps? Just trying to figure out what I should do with this guy if anything.

In my opinion this "sadly a yellow ! on speed at 39.4" prevents this player to be an Elite QB.

I take in accont as QB prospects only
TAL>=4.5*
INT > 48
SPE >48 (50+Track Start ideal)
STR >42
All the high the better.
Traits can be cherries on the cake.

Pay attention his starting EXP is enough high in order to be 5* as soon as possible or at least when he is ready to be a starter (25/26 yo).
Playing all the League+SC snaps he gains an avg of an half star EXP per season.

With this combo 38.3 INT, 40.5 Strength I would play him WR, but it is a matter of taste.
I would like have all my players 50 SP and Track Star.... linemen apart

Is a 44.4 Speed considered too slow for a SS? I picked up a player in the draft a season or two ago, with 46.4 STR and he already has some tackling trained, 27, and he's 21yo. Normally I would sale or drop a guy like this but he has 4 stars of experience at 21 and I'm learning to put a premium on experience. If he didn't already have some tackling trained I would make him a full back, but since he's already a defensive player, where to put him? He has 36.6 Int also.

For me, SF positions are still a mystery. I have guys like 45 str and 50 spe at both SF positions and sometimes they miss their only one or two tackles in game and there is/are TD for opponent.
Maybe is better to have your kind of player at that position and not to waste a good one that can play LB or CB, but I really can't tell so I go with "premium" players in str and spe but train them lower in skills (42-43).

If you ask me for an opinion I would cut him / sell him.

Speaking of experience, I for one really appreciate you guys with more experience playing the game, taking the time to watch the rookie/newer player forums and giving your advice and opinions on the game. It definitely makes the game more enjoyable when people are involved and help out.
Cheers to you mentors!

should I worry about my youth players physical condition ? does it affect there training ? or should I leave it until I'm close to promoting them ?

thanks

It doesn't affect training.

I train PC only when player is ready to play for the first team (for example skills are at 30), so it doesn't matter that he has good PC in senior team when you promote him.
