I like the latter. That makes some sense. But I think that punts are not "regular plays" and there is no text in the gamecenter about snaps to the punter. It is simply a "Player X (P) punts the ball from Field Position for Y". Waiting for Pete to talk about it (if it will not give us any hint about game engine or an eventual breach). I looked up the rushing leaders among QB in 2021 and it looks like 3-4 per game are pretty much standard, and in some cases much more than that (up to 10 per game). This depends heavily on the offense played. Those teams playing spread offense do often field good running QBs. Look at Tim Tebow, Lamar Jackson or Cam Newton. |
