Here we go again.
New is, level 2 is now closed, so new teams will pop up here from now onwards. We have Arizona Hummingbirds and Trois-Rivieres Oilers back from Elite. I did not find many drafties worth a second view, but will see, when I got the player. Some stats: We have right now 9 BOTs. MK Saints do look critical, they did not log in since a week, but more concerning, they did not renew many players. So likely they will turn BOT at some point. Same for Letaidans, also not logged in since some time and no roster prolongation. The Hornets had already anounced to quit, the team is on waiting for the final hammer, which will happen likely start of October. Not sure what to make out of Aloha State Warriors and Poznan Knights. Officially, finally. Hi guys
Good news is there have been several new teams created recently. At least one of them in Monarchs 2. The question is - will they survive the first few weeks. I sent my hello to two of them and unfortunately - no reply. I hope it's because my pm's were too many words and they didn't have time to answer. Plus... if they all started creating teams just before the new season, may be it was not by chance but a well thought of decision. In which case I'd hope it's not just to have the team created... Many yards, everyone! |

Maybe it would be a good idea to post a welcome message here - and name the teams. Then in addition we, as individuals, could send them a welcome message - maybe just a brief - 'How do you do?' (as we like to say in the UK
 ) and 'If you have any questions/need any help let me (i.e the sender) know.
By posting here it means that there more astute of us (like you guys) could also raise awareness to the less astute (like me) of new members joining. Hopefully if we show enthusiasm it might help to keep them. |

Players from draft automatically go to the senior team? There is no way to send a draftee to the youth academy?

Managed to grab my first-choice pick in R1 of the draft; a 5* talent, two-trait TE. Unfortunately, his strength is already capped and it's a bit low so I'll see where his speed finishes up before deciding what to do with him.

Do all physicals have to be 49-50, for the Elite calibre player, regardless of the position? For example for TE, wouldn't it be enough, say, 45/45?
Or am I misreading the discussion in another thread (with Dumbarajko), and what he meant was for _OL/DL_ Str 49+ is a must. NOT - for a KR. And neither Spe 49 for DE. For example I had sacrificed $2.5k and scouted a player on Pete's roster. And not only Str was significantly below 45, but another skill which I've read needs to be close to max, too. Obviously it's better to have everything 50 than not have, but the question is - is the difference between say 48 and 49, like, 20% better chance to perform, or is it closer to (49-48)/50=2%... ;-) EDIT: Of course don't get me wrong - I am NOT asking for numbers. Just what's your opinion, verbally. Is the difference between following the advice what's the ideal, versus following it if possible - the difference between having any shot at sucess on the highest levels of competition and not having it at all?
