I also invited you on the next friday friendly, since my stadium is already full built this gives you some extra money. That's also something you will read a lot and as a rookie, too I can confirm, building the stadium is the first priority. Another thing I would add for new managers is - Don't spend money on the Transfer Market. You don't need to do so! This is a quick way to go bankrupt. I even managed to go bankrupt after playing this game for a few years and I don't buy players on the TM! Going bankrupt is pretty easy to do.

Hmmm.
Looks like the AC will be decided by eventually 4 teams Bradford Yo-yos Black Dragons Torchwood Aliens Roll Badge 2.0 With likely the Aliens having only an outside chance, more likely is that Bradford Yo-yos vs Black Dragons will decide the Conference. Roll Badge 2.0 will play spoiler eventaully. And the NC looks a bit more open Trois-Rivieres Oilers Hemet Hooligans Paxtang Black Panthers Southern Meerkats Angelland Lions Osler Rotties With Panthers and Meercats only having an outsider chance. Likely Trois-Rivieres Oilers vs Hemet Hooligans will determine the Conference champ. Lions and Rotties might have a say, but they seem to lose to often. Still a good day of those teams can ruin any favorites dreams. I hope we can improve the quality of teams a bit further to get healthy competition. |

The Aliens are currently in financial survival mode having been on the edge of bankruptcy last season. I have managed to turn that around but am not in a position to be fussy about players. In any case I do not use the TM. I prefer to build from the draft and YA.
So we are less competitive at present. As I said before if new managers want any help or advice either post here, in the Rookies Forum or send me a PM. I will help as much as possible. Snappers are still not quite ready to play with the big boys, but at least our lineup doesn't consist of DL, exclusively. We've got a couple of K/P, too.
Jut kidding. Actually, about 90% of the seniors are in their final destination. The problem is skills, because in an effort to keep salaries in check, physicals are given absolute priority (90% at least until the red flag). But some are already past that point. Also, for irl reasons, I haven't even started playing with the PB. Expecting to finally do that this season. I hope that next season we'll be able at least occasionally to manage less laughable efforts against the favourites. |
