Hello all,
I'm discussing this subject with a friend and i want to know for sure.
First of all, what does ELO mean, abreviation for what?
And second, i know that before a match is played, ELO predicts the winner. Is ELO involved in the match (example: does the team with the higher ELO have a higher chance to win)?

Seriously: ELO rating

And no, it has NO influence on the gameplay. It ist just a statistics thing to help with determining the strength / success of a certain team over long time. But see the post below as well, especially Morale
