As we are reaching day 71 next Saturday I wish to bring this thread back for discussion. Maybe we could set a rematch for those teams that were not helped by the game engine...

Cup of Regions
There will be three games between all regions. A region can then win such a duel 3-0 or 2-1. This would involve the best 21 teams from each region. The elite teams are assigned to their home region. Each of these teams has one game. At the end of the day, one region has won the title and all 21 receive a trophy. So while three Sea Devils are playing against three Dragons, another three Sea Devils are playing against three Monarchs and another three are playing against three Thunders, etc |

We get 21 teams in total from a region, 3 teams from Admirals play against 3 teams from Claymore, other 3 teams from Admirals play against 3 other teams from Galaxy and so on and we can call it Battle Royal
Perhaps the first 21 teams according to ELO or just random maybe

OK, got it. So next question: who are those 21 teams? ELO seems to be not quite right. 21 teams, out of region should be determined from the league table, "sorted by league".
Would bots qualify, or is this a human thing? Do such games create experience, exhaustion, income (I dislike each of those 3)? Og, and how to schedule? Seems to me, it should be random ... Last edited on 2024-01-24 22:10:57 by pete |

In this case yes, but every region has at least 20 active team, so for now, boot teams won't be a problem. It will be 3 games played on saturday. I don't mind if they are games with no EXP and exhaustion, but i would love that triple income

we can divide the 21 teams into thirds. The best 7 teams play against one of the best 7 in the other region and places 8-14 play against places 8-14 in another region and the worst 7 also get an opponent from the worst 7 in the opposing region.
