Day 4 of the Animal Kingdom Friendly Cup is here, and we will see 4 intriguing match-ups today which will be played in all elements: At 1200 we will be able to witness the first battle in the sky over Falcon Field in the Americas. The unbeaten Romanian Ravens have to travel all the way over the Atlantic Ocean to challenge the Falcons. It will be intriguing to see how they will fare in foreign territory since they were fortunate to have played all their group round games at home on the coast of the Black Sea. The Falcons on the other hand will play their first home game of the tournament. At 1800 the Polar Bears leave their habitat to visit the Prairie Dogs in Sunrise City, which sure sounds like an ordeal for the visitors. Will they be able to withstand the uncomfortable temperatures and benefit from their size advantage? Or will the Prairie Dogs again trick their opponent and keep their record in this cup perfect? In the second game at 1800 the Elephants of Serbia visit Down Under where the Sea Eagles wait for them. The latter are still unbeaten, and whereas the other three games see match-ups that have not happened, the Sea Eagles of Sydney have already had the pleasure to beat the Elephants when they visited them a few weeks ago. Will they again make the heads of the Elephants spin with their aerial attack? Or will they shatter at the strong lines of the Elephants? The unbeaten Pikes of the Pinellas travel all the way to the North Sea where the Sea Lions will welcome them for the last game of the day on the shores of Heligoland. And the Sea Lions sure hope that the long travel will have made the Pikes tired and unfocused since it’s the only way they will have a slight chance in this very lopsided match-up. But it’s quite likely that the Pikes will be swimming circles around their disoriented opponents. Meanwhile, in the aforementioned undisclosed area, the construction of the stadium resembling the ark is in full steam. News about the surrounding adventure site tell about a giant water park with direct connection to a big river so that all aquatic animals can reach the site without leaving their comfort zone. And for the stadium it is said that it will even be possible to arrange the field to be filled with water. It will be a glorious sight to behold, and since it’s only two weeks away for the final to be played there, ticket sale has already begun. Of course, tickets will only be sold to human visitors… all animals that want to join the spectacle can do so free of charge

I'm still in disbelief that we won against the Pikes. Wow!
The passing-game left a lot to be desired, especially in the first half, but the running-game worked... and there seems to be truth to the words that you increase your chance of winning if you have a Back that makes 100 Yards on the ground 
Still... 220 fewer yards, 19 (!!!) fewer first downs, but 11 points more... it IS strange sometimes  |

But we will need a freaking miracle to defeat "THE BIG DOGS" in the semi-finals next sunday. Good luck all and lets have 2 great games. |

It’s time for the semifinals in the Animal Kingdom Friendly Cup. Word from the building site for the new stadium says it’s going to be glorious. The building itself exceeds expectations in size and sight, though the builder responsible always points to the fact that a lot of guests of different shapes and forms are expected. And they are thinking about the utilization when no games are played, too. We are told that the stands will be available for building resting places and caves underneath while the playing field will be filled with water and/or be greened, depending on the season and needs for the animals present. Today it’s going to be determined who is going to play the first game in this stadium. And both games, which will each kick off at 1800, will see a top 10 team from the global ranking welcome an opponent who just plays his third full season overall: In the North American lowlands the Prairie Dogs of Sunrise City take on the Ravens who again have to travel all the way across the Atlantic Ocean. Both teams are unbeaten in this tournament so far, but for one this stretch will end today. Will the Ravens surprise the host or will the Prairie Dogs continue the trend of outscoring the visitors? Down under the Sea Eagles wait in the ria of Port Jackson for the Sea Lions from Hamburg. It’s the second match-up of these two teams in this cup, the first one being the last game in the group round when the Sea Eagles visited Hamburg and shut the Sea Lions out 23:0. Will the long travel leave the Sea Lions too tired to put up a fight, or will the Sea Eagles just meet expectations and again win easily against their inferior opponent? Good luck to everyone |

Good game Doc,
My players where exhausted by the flight, in the first half  and they played like shit, but after my speech at halftime  (), they played much better in the 2nd half, but not enough to win the game.
Well, that's the end of the road for us, Chrill thank you for the invite, and we are waiting for the 2nd edition next season. Good luck in the final boys, may the best one win.
