I'll start off the thread
Just from a quick preview, it appears we have a very strong set of teams here this season. Not that we don't always, but it feels particularly challenging for some reason. Anyone else got opinions or stats for this? |

I took a brief look at the rosters, and I think there's going to be a lot of promoted teams relegating returning teams this season. I believe at least one team in each division gets replaced with a promoted team with the exception of Fire, but would not be surprised to see Towncars take the division over the TigerCats (not saying it will happen, but certainly within the realm of plausibility). If Bridges comes back to life (hasn't been on since 2-20), then Thunder could keep both teams.

Yeah, with Bridges and my Malones going bot it's pretty open (Oldtown Rooks haven't logged in since the 15th either). Henry's blooming death onion popping in makes up some ground for the AC's loss of the Bridges. And the Oilers run in the SC shows they're an ersatz Malones at a minimum for Monarchs. Plus Shadow and Holly keep getting stronger. Dusty South retiring for the Blitz also hurts. Steve's roster is too good to ever expect a "down" season, but you don't just replace a Dusty South without a minor blip. So, in total, I believe it's down. |
