Well, pretty much done with navigating streams and small rivers. We now head towards deeper and rough open seas.
Hope we can keep afloat in the coming weeks. Just need 3 more wins to reach our goal. I hope we don't get hamered to bad tonight, we have other battles to fight and win. Cheers 🍻🤣🍻 |

In my own case I ran into financial problems two seasons ago and almost went bankrupt. It meant that I had to cut my cloth to suit and that, in turn, meant going with some players who were less than ideal as I had to keep my finances down. I am still working through this as I am determined not to get into that situation again. I don't know if others are feeling the pinch. I was hoping to hang on and win the division agan but after two recent defeats I think the chance has gone so I'm looking to regroup and hopefully have a better shot next season. Good luck to you in your division. |

Let's make an u p d a t e on the overview, now that all bye weeks are done.
AC AC East Toronto Thunder 8-1 Torchwood Aliens 7-2 Blue Devels 5-4 Spartans 1-8 Thunder are 1 game ahead . Their rematch with the Aliens will likely determine the division crown, but also other games can become crucial. If they win they win the division of course, but that loss lately does mean they could fall any time. Aliens are 1 game behind Thunder and have 2 crucial games, Bruisers and Thunder. If they win against both, the division could be theirs. A loss in one of those could make them a wildcard team, unless Thunder does lose some extra. PD is in favor of the Aliens. Devels are likely to finish 3rd in the division, I expect them to lose at least 3 more, which would make them a long shot for the playoffs. Spartans are BOT and will eventually get a new team assigned, but will have no impact on the season. AC North Ruhrpott Miners 7-2 Kraichgau Buccaneers 3-6 Monterey Titans 1AFC 3-6 Minnesota Unicorns 2-7 Miners have emerged as leading team, but will likely lose some more games and will win the division. The Buccaneers do look worse than expected, but some BOT games are coming. Titans will also lose several more games. Unicorns are BOT. AC South Burnaby Bruisers 8-1 Braska Bangers 09 7-2 Doves 3-6 Packers 0-9 Bruisers did recover greatly over the past few games and will likely win the division. Bangers have a quite tough remaining schedule and depended on the outcome will become a wildcard team or miss it by an inch. Doves are quite weak as newer team and will have to impact on the playoffs. Packers are BOT and will eventually get a new team assigned, but no impact on the playoffs. AC West Black Dragons 9-0 Roll Badge 2.0 8-1 Dan1983m 5-4 Orono Ancient Snappers 2-7 Dragons are together with the Bruisers the top teams of the conference and right now it looks like they will play only the Bruisers as meaningful game and maybe, maybe, that will determine the #1 spot, but likely Dragons will get it anyway, thanks to the other games. Badge might have a say inside the division, but have a slighlty tougher schedule. I expect them to become a playoff team, but not to win the division. Dan1983m is for me still an enigma, but fine, the managers can manage his team as he likes. I think they will have no impact on the playoffs. Might slightly miss the playoff ranks. Snappers have a quite tough schedule and will likely not catch Dan1983m. No impact on the playoffs. My guess on the playoff standings in the AC is (no change so far): Black Dragons Burnaby Bruisers Toronto Thunder Ruhrpott Miners Roll Badge 2.0 Torchwood Aliens NC NC East Southern Meerkats 8-1 Hemet Hooligans 7-2 Egger Traktoren 2-7 Harms Heros 1-8 The Meerkats do have the edge in wins and in PD. Except a surpising loss, the Meerkats will likely win the division. The Hooligangs lost the second time a quite clear match (against the Crabs), so I think they will make the playoffs, but will not win the division. The Traktoren and the Heros are both BOTs and will not play any role on the playoffs, even if they get a new manager assigned. NC North Baltimore Blue Crabs 6-3 birney's weekenders 5-4 Medvedi 1-8 Tennessee 0-9 The Crabs are right now ahead, but they play some more tough cookies than the weekenders, so likely they will finish 2nd inside the division, likely not in the playoffs. The weekenders do have right now a win less than the Crabs, but a much easier schedule, so the division is likely theirs to lose. Medvedi is right now a weak team, but will have no impact in the playoffs. Tennessee are BOT and will have no impact on the playoffs. NC South Leverkusen Leopards 9-0 Paxtang Black Panthers 7-2 Trnava Saints 5-4 Poruba Titans 0-9 My team, the Leopards, are primed to win the division with the Panthers in reload/rebuild mode. Chances are high to finish unbeaten. The Panthers do face a few tough cookies, but not that many, so likely the will finish inside the top teams for the playoffs. Saints do face several tougher teams and will likely miss the playoffs. Titans are a brand new team, which will have no impact on the playoff race. NC West KAFakofers 6-3 Fighting Frankonian 4-5 Osler Rotties 4-5 Poznan Knights 1-8 KAFakofers did win against the Aliens, which was surprising and di have right now the edge inside the division. Likely they will not lose 2 more than the Rotties, so likely they will win the division. Frankonian went BOT, will drop fast. Rotties will likely finish 2nd, but will not have a strong record. Likely no playoff team. And the Knights did announce their rebuilding intention after several seasons of just sliding through, but so far no big actions on the rosters. No impact on the playoffs. My guess on the playoff standings in the NC is (some changes): Leverkusen Leopards Southern Meerkats birney's weekenders Fighting Frankonian Hemet Hooligans Paxtang Black Panthers I think we will some adjustments later. |
