Last night was the first round in the 2023 NFL DRAFT
It's great to see all these talented players get picked one after the other, but what was impressive is that 3 QBs were taken in the first 4 picks. From my perspective, the Baltimore Ravens took one of the best WRs off the board in Zay Flowers with the 22th pick. How about your thoughts? Did your team picked a good player? |

That was a good pick, fully agree there. My team is the Rams so it's about 75 rounds before we get a pick

Everyone was talking about that trade 2 years ago and they silenced all the critics when they won the SuperBowl last season, so I say it was worth it, even if Stafford is 35 now, perhaps he may still have some years left in him. Yup, happy with the implications of the trade, and injuries were a nasty thing last year. Makes the draft a bit slower when thinking about your team but it's still really interesting. Jehmyr Gibbs RB at pick 12 for the Lions was a surprise. Forbes CB at 16 for the Commanders also. Eagles DL is a thing of nightmares - their GM only goes OL/DL/QB or WR so no surprise there. Does anybody like Deuce Vaughn RB? 5'5", 165cm tall. Probably won't go for a while but could be great. |

My team is the patriots, and they selected Christian Gonzalez. We need weapons on our offense, and we need them now

Mine too *highfive* Now that the 6th round is running it does look not that bad what the Rams are doing. A lot of trades for more picks, right now it looks like they pick 14 times overall. Good prospects for the lines up until now, which was a great need for them. I wouldn't want to see a season like the last again where Stafford has opposing defenders constantly in his face. But I wonder why they picked 25yo QB Stetson Bennett from Georgia when Dorian Thompson-Robinson from UCLA was still there... |

There's always something in a draft that makes you stop and scratch your head. Good to see the resources going into the trenches. |

What can i say.
Good draft for the Ravens with only 6 picks overall, although i don't really think that 7th round trade was necessary, but if we really like somebody, we go and get him. Now, the free agents hunt and undrafted players hunt begins |

But yeah...the Patriots need a lot on offense too. Are you happy with QB situation? Wonder if a lot of teams will be kicking team selves for not taking Will Levis? Steve SD Blitz |
