Who is your pick to win the superbowl this year?
Biased opinions accepted I know I will always pick my Saints but if I were to give an unbiased opinion I think the Bills will get it done this year. |

At what squad the Ravens have now, i believe that they could be one of the favorites from AC. But if you want a clear pick at the title, i do think that this could be the Bills season to get the job done and from the NC i must go with the 49ers. |

I must admit, I don't care who enters that Bowl, as long as it is a cool game to watch ...

I hope the game does not disappoint, like SB53 for example. If its anything like this last one I will be happy.

I like the Ravens as well, they have a tough division, the Bengals are still looking like a playoff team and the Browns and Steelers look like they will be better, that division looks pretty fun and I agree with you on the 49ers though I still don't know what is going to happen at QB, I hope they stick with Purdy though. |

Out of the 3 QBs that were picked who do you think will do better this season?
I believe C.J. Stroud will perform better and end up being the better pick, I think this might be the beginning of a new era for the Texans, that being said I think they still need a lot of work for the team to be more competitive. I also think that if the Colts figure out a way to involve AR in the running game and if the passing game is consistent and not turnover crazy like last season they are a playoff team and if so would probably make him the better pick at least on the the first year, but it all depends on if AR start and plays well. I think Young will need more years and support around him, it's a positive that the running game was good last season, I hope they lean on it for a season or two and let him develop properly. In 30+ seasons on following the NFL I have learned that you can not anticipate the impact and the performance of any draft pick and his team.
Sure, you can say 'That guy will elevate the team to playoffs or Superbowl or whatever', but being true to yourself and others, how many times this was right and this was wrong? Just check the 1st round QBs of the past 30 years and how many of those were GREAT, GOOD, OK and BUST. You would be surprised. Overall there are so many factors on the transition from college to pro that it's hard to see, how the person will come out at the end of the tunnel, if ever. I stopped making myselves thinking about this. |

That is very true, I think we have been spoiled in recent years with amazing QB play with Allen, Mahomes, Herbert, Burrow, Hurts, Watson, Murray and Lawrence who have been good since coming to the league from college, we also have cases like Mayfield, Trubisky and Zach Wilson who have not been great or at least worth the high pick.
I also think that since we make expectations it hurts more when we are wrong so I see your point. I still think it's a fun thing to think about, alas it is all we can do in the offseason |

I was shocked when Mayfield went number 1. I did not think he would transition well at all. But, I also thought Will Grier was going to be the next Joe Montana when he came out of West Virginia. I thought Ryan Mallet was going to the Hall of Fame one day when he came out of Arkansas. So I too came to the conclusion that I have no clue what makes a great football player.
I go to every Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. Occassionally, I do get a prediction right. One year, Erin Andrews was interviewing Carson Wentz after the Senior Bowl. I told my buddy that I did not understand the hype around Carson Wentz. I just did not think he would hold up physically in the NFL. I told my buddy that she should have interviewed that big kid from Mississippi State. He played lights out. That big kid ended up being Dak Prescott. I didn't even know his name that day. Say what you will about Dak's talent, but he is a successful starting QB in the NFL and likely will be for another 3 or 4 years at least. Wentz? |
