I do train some players on their red capped physicals.

In contradiction to the yellow cap progress, where you see even 0.1 increases on skills with yellow cap, on red capped skills you can only see full numbers.

So yellow capped skill STR 41.8 to 41.9 is visible.
But red capped STR 41.8 to 41.9 is not visible, but 41.9 to 42.0 IS.

My suggestion is to add the progress on 0.1 also for red capped skills.

Yep, as long as they are below 50. In my YA, with a good position coach and high TW, I can usually add .1 Str or Spd about every third training

Not sure I agree with Jack's initial point though. I do see .1 increases in training my red physicals already

I put 90% and i noticed that in the YA (i have premium YA, sometimes it takes 1 or 2 training session) and i tried it even on Senior team and i had 90% for 2-3 training session and he gained that 0.1
Keep in mind that it matters the players TW (and it matters a lot) and also i'm using Wind Tunnel as Facility which also counts.

Yes to what Radu said.

I've taken a player from 48.x up to 50 using this method and then either sell (because you can sometimes get a little more $$ out of people with that 50) or dump a bunch of training points in the skills to keep the player on pace

Agreed, 50 is better than 48.x

Players have capped abilities on speed, strength and agility. If they hit the cap already, the training will be slowed down. The player can make progress, but it will be really, really hard for him.
