Season #53 is here!
After last season's rebuilding year (because of the new QB) turned out into a moderately successful season (Fugate played pretty well) and only losing four players to retirement, I'm looking forward to another successful campaign. Then I saw my schedule...oh boy...tough SuperCup group and an even tougher league schedule. Hopefully some new O-linemen can start strong and we'll be okay or even better. For the NC South, Zombaes managed to beat us twice (once in the CofC). And then Dumbarajko and Raspberry Bush return to the Elite league to try to unseat us. Should be exciting! Good luck to all! Hello
We're the new kids, ready for a first walk to Canossa in the Elite which should begin with a spanking by the Paladins on Saturday. Our team is mostly the same like last season that we were able to cap off with a Superbowl win in the Dragons League, and I'm curious how good the squad really is. Do you guys at this level do prognostications about the season before the first Regular Season game? Like who's going to win the divisions? Or how many of the 16 Teams that got promoted will relegate down again? |

Malones are out of the game, so Squid hasn't his main rival to write nonsense about him
I will make just one bet: 13 teams of 16 promoted will get relegated (and I will not tell you which three I believe will stay). Of course if there is no bot or rebuild things in the middle of the season. |

You guys are the best. Maybe I'll come out of retirement just for you. I can't do my 3 hour writeups every week though, that's too much. It was way better when I could use company time! I still talk to pderekdactyl daily. He thoroughly enjoyed my 2 losses to end the last season. |
