Relieved too, after being back from hell. I can t believe we won after losing 0-17, but we stopped three and outs on every drive and finished winning. Thanks to our best pass rusher for some décisive sacks, a slight hope remains to stay in Elite next season.

3 games to go, so let’s have a quick look at the divisions and the chances of each team:
AC East The East is led by the Prairie Dogs, who, being one of two teams in the league with a nearly spotless record of 12–1, already clinched a playoff berth. In fact they already won their division, as the Deflators on second place are 4 wins behind them (8–5) and can not jump them anymore. The Deflators themselves are one win above the Paris Guardians (7–6), and it will come down to the last game day of the season between these two to see which one will stay in the Elite for another go-around. The Falcons (3–10) will return to the Thunder league after 3 seasons in the Elite. AC North The Superbowl winner TigerCats (9–4) lost some games but seem to have found their groove just in time to enter the postseason as the force that they are known for. One more win and they clinch the North and therefore another home playoff game. The Grail Knights (6–7) can secure another season in the Elite with a win over the Norsemen on Saturday. On the other hand the Norsemen (3–10) have their final chance to keep hopes for another season in the Elite alive. The Idlers (0–13) are going to play in the Fire league again next season. AC South In the AC South it’s again close between the Yorkies (10–3) and the Seagles (9–4), and the game between these two teams coming Saturday will be huge. If the Yorkies win they will be 2 wins in front and very likely win the division. If the Sea Eagles win they tie the record and, having the slightly easier final two games, are in position to jump the Yorkies in the final week of the regular season. The Minors (4–9) and the Productioneers (1–12) return to the Claymore league after the season. AC West The AC West is one of two divisions that are still undecided, in both directions. The BobBoy Magpies (10–3) have good chances to win it on Saturday in their game at the Suchdol Minors. The Devon Dog Soldiers (4–9) have their last chance to stay another season, but they must win against the ChosenOnes (7–6) on Saturday. Should they lose they return to the Admirals league. The Lakers (6–7) have the chance to stay, but they’d have to win all three games… one of which they play against the C1s. NC East Another division that’s in tight grip of two veteran managers in lockstep, while both teams that joined at the start of the season, the Constanta Sailors (5–8) and the Glasgow Tigers (4–9), can already plan for their return to the Sea Devils league. The winner of this division will very likely be determined by PD, as both the Ducks (10–3) and the Mandos (10–3) have very favorable schedules to close out the regular season. And it’s quite likely that they both advance to the postseason. NC North In this division resides the second team with a 12-win-record, being the Space Kraken, and they, too, have already secured an appearance in the postseason. The still fight with the Oilers (11–2) about the first place in the division, and it could come down to another deciding encounter on the very last game day of the season when the Oilers visit the Kraken. Meanwhile the Saints (4–9) and the Hooligans (3–10) return to the Monarchs league after the season. NC South The second division that’s still undecided, although that could change, too, coming Saturday. Both the Bretzfeld Bandits (6–7) and the Hoosier Underdogs (5–8) need to win to keep chances for another season in the Elite alive. The Underdogs are at the mercy of the Zombaes (8–5), though, because if the latter win on Saturday the Underdogs will return to the Galaxy league nonetheless. The Bandits have to win out and hope for the Zombaes to stumble in one of the games… which would be devastating for the Zombaes, though, as their path to the playoffs can only be by winning the division. And since they do not play the Blitz (9–4) anymore they need to win out themselves for a chance to get a spot in the postseason. NC West Another division where it’s already settled which teams will stay another season in the Elite, as both the Ukies (3–10) and the Stars (2–11) have no chance of catching up to the SEA LIONS (8–5) anymore. The big hairy fish themselves still have a chance to advance to the postseason, but they need to win the division and have to win out to do so, starting on Saturday against the Deflators. The Bobbers (9–4) need two more wins to be the king of the NC West for the seventh time in a row. |

I would not be surprised if you overtake Deflators, but it will be interesting to see how it plays out....have you seen his remaining schedule? Very good chance the winner of your finale against him gets the 6th seed in the playoffs, and the loser gets relegated |

This one today decides the season for the HAMBURG SEA LIONS. We again, like last season, visit the Deflators as the last non-conference-game on our schedule, and we need to win this one to have it in our own hands to get to the postseason. Our last match-up came down to a missed FG which would have won us the game, although we did have 3 turnovers, too. Here's hoping we can avoid making these mistakes today
Have a good game-day, everyone |

Great. Now that we are relegated, my QB channels an inner Peyton and goes all out playing a spoiler. Where was this when games mattered?

For us it's the other way around: Now that we are safe we lose even the games we play as MOTY, with only 18 First Downs, 36 % time of possession and despite winning the turnover battle
