Ok, torakrid and my team did promote to Elite, Morion and michaeltodd are back from Elite.

Remember to pledge in media center before Wednesday, otherwise you do miss the bonus.

Xtc went BOT.

Looks like the list of contenders this season is quite short, except an eventually big addition on transfer markets or moving teams until end of the week.

Good luck in the Eli, guys. Still, you'll always have a warm wilkommen if back in the Monarchs :-)

Fresh from the frontline (3F), (in other words, draft day bragging ) Spe 49+TrSt, Int 50, TmW 49, tal 5*. I wonder what to make him...
Joking, of course. Was my number 2 choice on the draft list, ahead of all of them multi-traiters (except for a perfect 2-trait LB), so I consider myself quite happy with my future QB, considering pick #22.

Was a bit weak and old for my taste, but OK.

I got an DL which will take the place in my team for a YA player now on the market.
Faster, stronger and a bit better developed than my YA player.

I had actually 30 players sorted and after 1st round still 17 not touched. Nice.

I know I shouldn't be surprised but I always am at how high in my draft list I get the players I want regardless of my draft position. I got a top 5 guy on my list. I was drafting for need (needed young OL to replace expensive guys next season) and got a 50 strength, 47 tw, stonewall guy. A bit old but that is ok.

Speaking of age....I have come to the conclusion that younger isn't necessarily better. In fact I think it is financially more difficult if you wanted to keep them their entire career. The younger you get them the sooner they max out and consequently price out of your team. I hate letting 26 to 28 year old studs just walk away but I can't afford them. No one will buy them either.

Doesn't bother with the draft this time around as just easing my way back in to the game after 5 years away.

Was in Thunder before with the Jockstraps, have they are no longer Jimmy's but Big Brocks, good to see a few of you around from back then.

In 6 seasons time, I will be coming for y'all !!

Welcome back, TuathaDeDenaan!

Welp, my first pick is a LB with good strength who will start for me in a season or two. My second pick is a strong RB who's moving to FB. Third round will be a crapshoot as normal.

That heavily depends on your training and business plan. Beside some roster shake ups I do roughly every 10+ seasons, I would say 90%+ of all my players play until retirement in my team.
How?
I train them to a certain level, right now skill level 43, and they stay there until they give the signal for retirement. In that last year they can train further, since there is no wage impact.
But of course, if you just train and train a player until max, you have to cut them at some age, because playing 250K+ on 50% of the roster is not possible.
For me, age on drafties is essential, a) for the time they spend in my team, which can be 10+ seasons, b) if I have to sell them, the younger the better.
Since 10+ seasons the quality seems to be a bit better than in the past, but maybe I'm just lucky and Peter did not change anything. There was a time I did if any just use 1 pick and that's that, now they are usually at 2, sometimes 3. But I did also change the strategy of drafting several times, so the results are not really comparable.

I got as #2 a young LB who will also exchange my YA LB, since he is already better in skills than that guy in the acadamy. His STR value needs training, but so far no yellow sign, so he will be in good shape. He was at 7 on my sorted list and I still have 6 left of my initial list. But of course I will get the 2nd to last in 3rd round so, a lucky shot at best.

We have some departing teams in the region.

Departing:
Packers went to Thunder
Burnaby Bruisers went to Admirals

in exchange we got only BOT teams.

Bruisers leaving is depressing, he was a very long member in the region.
