I am definitely not the fast learner. Took me a few seasons to find out, that the engine treats "flexbone" precisely the same it treats "wishbone".
My suggestion is not regarding the formations themselves, but about the way it might lead to the confusion. The information regarding the subject can be found in the forum (that's where I myself found it), but in order to find it you must either scan thru several posts (in the search engine), or know precisely what you are searching for. The latter may be hard, until you start suspecting something is not the way it should on the display of the match. And with certain players (like myself) it may take a while, before noticing the formation depicted on the pitch does not correspond to the one in the play-by-play description of the same game moment. Hence my suggestion - include a short sentence in the manual, at the bottom of the "formations" section. Sth along the line - "Note: Flexbone formation is currently implemented identically as Wishbone formation". I know it won't affect many RZA players (based on the fact that since 2022 there were no posts inquiring about the issue  ), but it seems to be a simple solution to reduce the chance even further. |

News to me. I need to clean my glasses more obviously.
I would take from the formation info and applet that they should work differently with Flex playing like 4WR but switching 2xWR for 2xRB. You couldn't run with a RB (HB) from Flex according to the diagram of the formation in the Manual but it would be possible from Wishbone with FB as a lead blocker. Never checked to see whether that was true from the play. |
