As far as I know it takes 3.000 snaps for half of star of exp.

And it doesn't matter how much exp player has before that.

For coaches it is different, exp grows faster at low levels and slower as exp is higher.

So players are linear, and coaches have this classical learning curve. Can live with that, I guess...

And 3000 is not "by design". It is a rough estimation out of the community. Depending on some factors it could be even more, or a bit less
