The cows @rse has found the banjo. Lakers will RMANO. A victory is a victory, but I almost had an heartstrike when at the very last play of the 4th quarter I read: 0:17 2 and 2 to go on opp 13, Marco Bellani (OC) snaps the ball to Samuel Crespo (QB), Samuel Crespo (QB) selected Mathias Messina (WR/L) as target, the pass goes inner left to the receiver, who catches the ball, Mathias Messina (WR/L) tackled by Curt Hickson (CB/R), forward progress: 8 yards, New first down (Singleback Spread vs. 5-2) more I realized I messed up my playbook while I was waiting for the winning field goal... Luckily my team decided to save the day and win it in overtime. With Littlemenon is always an hard fight, but losing for an idiot mistake would be painful. The war for avoiding relegation has still many games before the final judgement, but today it was a really important one. |

3/4 of the way through the season. Time for an updated APD ranking post. Since it's based on performance against SoS, having 12 games worth of data should mean it's a lot more accurate as a power ranking.
Some notes: The NC south is noteworthy, as all four teams have a rating above zero. The NC west has the tightest bunching, which is evidenced in the records being comparatively close. The AC north has had the easiest combined schedules, and the NC north has had the hardest. Trnava has had the hardest individual schedule, and TigerCats the easiest. (interesting considering the result of their last match!) Nothing to do with the rankings, but a slight disappointment that with 4 games left to play, most of the competition has been decided, besides a little jostling for playoff positioning. The most contested race might be for the 6th PO spot in the AC. Sydney and PRY tied in their division and Missouri and Tiger in theirs. One of those 4 teams don't get into the playoffs. Their head to heads will be matches to watch in the last 2 weeks. Enough jabbering, here's the rankings: KMN Mandalorians 22 San Diego Blitz 20.5 Air Force Falcons 16.9 Missouri Misery 15 Peoples Republic of Yorkshire 13.4 Space Kraken 12.7 Sunrise City Prarie Dogs 12.1 Dumbarajko Elephants 12 BobBoy Magpies 10.4 TigerCats 5.4 Social Distance Runners 4.6 Quokkas on steroids 3.4 Sydney Sea Eagles 3.3 Chelt Nam Bobbers 2.1 Kirky 44's 1 mystics -0.4 Constanta Ravens -0.4 Paris Guardians -1 Black Dragons -3.8 Niceville Norsemen -3.9 Hamburg Sea Lions -4.5 Bracciano Lakers -4.7 Gilets Jaunes -6 Melittlemenon thepitchhitchin -7.6 Girona Dragons 1714 -8 Rio Thunder -10.4 The Flying Circus -12.2 Fargo Knights -12.5 Trnava Saints -17.0 Caplit e salama -17.2 Burnaby Bruisers -20.2 Quack Attack -31.2 |
