This cup is for everyone who has won at least one Nobel Prize in their lifetime. Only real Nobel Prizes count. By that, I mean: no economics prizes.

The registration period is over, and there are some statistical anomalies. First, no science or literature prizes have registered. All eight participants have won the Nobel Peace Prize. Second, most of the Nobel Prizes went to the USA, but none of them have registered for the Cup. I can't explain either of these.

The second matchday of the Friendly Cup's Nobel Prize Winners Cup is underway. Let's analyze the implications of a win or loss for each team today.

Group 1:

- Rockabilly Kings: A win would solidify their top spot, increasing their probability of advancing to 90%. A loss would drop their probability to 60%.
- Cirano: A win would keep them in contention, maintaining their 80% probability of advancing. A loss would reduce their chances to 40%.
- Hereford Hawks: A win would boost their chances, increasing their probability to 40%. A loss would make their advancement unlikely, with a 10% probability.
- St Pauli Packers: A win would give them a fighting chance, increasing their probability to 30%. A loss would make their advancement highly unlikely, with a 5% probability.

Group 2:

- Free Agent Mascots A win would maintain their top spot, with a 95% probability of advancing. A loss would drop their probability to 70%.
- Aberthaw Dolphins: A win would keep them in contention, with an 80% probability of advancing. A loss would reduce their chances to 40%.
- Mülheim Steelers: A win would boost their chances, increasing their probability to 50%. A loss would make their advancement unlikely, with a 20% probability.
- GLADIATORI ROMA: A win would give them a slim chance, increasing their probability to 20%. A loss would eliminate them from contention, with a 0% probability.
