The "games played" are reflected in the accelerated EXP increase.

No games played like you know them (like Supercup or Friendlies), just imaginative and the players gain EXP in the acadamy, roughly 1/2 * per season.
Means, if you have a 16 year old pulled with 1,5* at the start, he will be at 17 at 2*, 18 at 2,5*, with 19 at 3* and at 20 getting promoted to senior roster with 3,5* EXP, which is not too bad.
Since you can find even 2* 16 year olds, the player would get to 4* even.

Of course depends when in a season you pull the player.
Same for TC, most of the players will have 100% TC, when they reach senior roster.

Would not doubt be a lot of work but it would be cool to see youth team results.

Sure, but the stuctures are not that way.

Remember, you have max 22 players in YA, which is realistically too few to actually play a youth game.

I was in real life a youth coach on a football team and with such a roster, we always went for a partnership with another team or more than one team in addition to have a deeper bench and to compensate on injuries and other stuff, which can happen.
Would be great to have really youth games, like they have in hattrick (a soccer managing team I did play a long time ago), but then we would need at least 35 players (remember, on senior team the minimum is 38!) in the youth acadamy.
