Here is a roundup for the ruling.
It depends on the league! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Field_goal_(American_and_Canadian_football) Unfourtionatly it does not tell what happens if a field goal try misses and is then (after the neutral zone) is muffed. But I think we agree: - running clock on FG - missed FG is treated as a punt if kicked, missed (to short) and stays in bounds. |
