Okay, I'm a little confused about when to play relaxed mode. Basically, you want to play it during a game you can win easily, but is the experience gain reduction worth the PC advantage??

At the moment I wouldnt use it. Remember, we all own a bunch of water boys..risk a win at this level might not worth it

I think yes. Play with relax mode in a Friday Friendly and evaluate how strong your team is.
