In another RZA-like game you can set a % slider for each position and play type in a given situation.
Something like: "Play Type: Outside Run: 5%, Inside Run: 10%, Short Pass: 5%, Medium Pass: 5%, Long Pass: 75% Position: I-normal: 20%, Shotgun 4WR: 20%, Singleback-big: 20%, etc..." Last edited on 2017-01-18 18:00:05 by Rafi1205 |

I know that you want to stay different from other existing games but in the game settings we have allready the drop box we are asking for, it would be just more creative and strategic to have the same in the playbook.
Setting a general pass/rush matrix depending only on downs isnt really relevant, it creates less diversity in playcalling on the field throughout the game. Lets say I prefer to run on 1st or 2nd down only in the first half or prefer pass when I am behind etc... The problem is that we have to choose between two bad solutions: 1/ Setting only punting and kicking rules and maybe a "go for it" and then playing without creative strategy or 2/Setting some rules depending on precise game situations but then we become predictable because we will allways use the same game and the same position in that given situation. It is not about having the box or not, it never was. It is about the major changes inside the engine that come along with the box. All the balancing work etc...
