It's said in the manual that the teams promoted and relegated stay in their conference (promotion/relegation from AC to AC).
But I can't see how it's possible.

Indeed, the 4 teams from the 2 bowl games are promoted which are 2 AC teams and 2 NC teams.
The teams relegated are those which rank from 29 to 32 in the league. That could be 4 teams from AC for example.

If all conference runner-ups lose their game against the teams sided 25 to 28 in the higher league, there would be in this example 4 spots in AC for 2 AC and 2 NC promoted. So promoted teams cannot stay in their conference in this case (NC teams).

At has to be "region", not "conference". Where did you find that?

And yes, all you said is totally right. Just a typo
