I encountered several problems of formation with the DC. For example I'd like to have a RB playing at FB on Shotgun 2W but if I put him as 1st FB and RB in DC, he will be pick firstly as FB in other formations because of the pick order. Same problem with a RB when you want him Center (in Big I for example), you have to set him 1st in DC but so he cannot be left side on Pro Set...

So could we in the furure choose the pick up order depending on formation?

This would lead IMO to a situation where you could "exploit" the engine. I tried to avoid such things like Darkwing formations, where you need only one skilled player to win a game. However, I will shut up and see where the discussion is going.

I would like the idea.
But it has to be simple.

Regarding exploids: Wouldn't the energy level pamper such exploids?
A tired superstar is a not that effective.

Does a overused player (like selecting "NO SUBSTITUTION" in the settings) gets a deeper PC hit?

why not train a good FB instead of using a RB all the time.

this would, as peter said lead to a one player wounder with one player maxed at skills since you wount be neding anyone else to be succesfull.

Also, havent it being mention that it will be a penalty if a player is playing out of possition in the future? if so, this will hurt teams that us using a player in many positions (i for one hope that the penalty will be really high)

the game of american football isent depending on one single player to carry either defence or offence..

I say NO to this, keep it as it is...

To answer the question: most likely the hit will be higher on "No SUBST" due the number of plays, less bench times...

So a TOP player would wear down during a season, if played to often.

The goal was not to have a superstar player... But as I'm using the shotgun 2 WR for running, the FB become a RB in this case. So I'd like to put a RB player there. It's not an objective to put a superstar.

I know, but Peter mentioned the exploid problem, which might come up if you have a superstar and let him play in lots of formations.

But from my point of view, such "exploid" would backfire, because the player would wear down over the season.

If you setup a system you would like, such exploids could happen.
