I had a thought as a was looking at my schedule tonight and got to thinking that with the energy level setting on the match setup page there are three options. I thought a good idea might be to add a hard setting to where the players play more competitively without playing at match of the year settings, that way managers can have the team play harder in playoff games, and if they make it to the cup game, then use the match of the year setting since it can only be used once. I figured with the setting at normal if it works the way it should players will think the game is a normal game even if it is a playoff game, and that isn't how players should play in the playoffs

In the game settings you can choose 3 types: relaxed, normal and MOTY. And you can choose MOTY only once a season. The suggestion is to delete this 3 digital switches and create an analog way to set the team motivation. Maybe every team have a container, filled with 100 %. And in every game you take a part of this amount into the game settings. For example: you choose 5 %, then in your motivation container will be reduced with 5 %. And for the rest of your games in this season (Normal and Playoff) you have to calculate with the remaining 95 %. The MOTY element is a tactical decision each coach can / have to make.
I need to have it that digital way to determine in a clean way if MOTY is allowed or not. If you want to kill this MOTY thing then we will lose a tactical element of the season planning. See our situation. You could have beaten me easily yesterday by using MOTY, and then I would be second of the division, not first. But then you are not allowed to use MOTY during the playoffs. So it is on you to "gamble" a bit and to find the right point to use that. By the way: MOTY does not result in a harsh benefit. Much more it is kind of a penalty...like "all or nothing"...such situations each coach of the NFL will face from time to time, but not all the time. And in real life there is no slider who tells the guys "play with a 5.7% boost"  ...the coach enters the room, and tells you about "any given sunday"...and he is telling "no problem, we should win the game" or maybe "it does not matter, relax and take it easy"....or he will talk 5 minutes about honor, pride and trophies...and tell you "kill' em, by any means"...you agree? |

i still don´t get it are you saying i get 100 point per season and i can spread them over the game i have for the season
something like this 1 game 5 point 95 left 2 game 3 point 92 left 3 game 1 point 91 left 4 game 10 point 81 left and so on .........??? or do i misunderstand this totally |

no what i was thinking is have the same three selections but make it to where relaxed makes the team play at 25% performance level, normal at 50%, hardcore at 75% and then the all or nothing 100% MOTY setting
