the problem with the entire trade block system is 2-3 teams can "collude" to build just certain positions. In RL teams would not say I ll trade my Qbs for that teams LBs every season. But with the limited training facilities available you might end up with a few teams ganging up on the rest or a set of teams never agreeing to any trade. It makes more sense to me to have a fair market.

On the other hand if other managers in aleague are to vote instead of veto, it becomes imperative that they "research well" enough.

Counting on X votes wont work, because of bot leagues

Ok, my 3 cents:

1. Trading is a tricky thing. I like the flavor, but cheating makes it tough. If trading is implemented, I'd like to be able to trade for draft picks (because this is realistic)

2. I think a fair way would be to use salary as the basis or trades (as salary is determined by the players approximate value) with a variance of 10%. So, if you wanted to trade 3 ok OL for a stud QB, you could, but the salaries of those 3 players needed to be within 10& of that QB's salary. The detraction to this system, you couldn't trade an aging star for a young prospect without throwing in quite a few players to make salary match the aging star.

3. With trading for draft picks, I think you need to place a threshold salary minimum for each round pick. Like 50,000 weekly salary for a first round pick, or whatever.

Nice ideas, shaft!

The thing with trading picks is: you can't know for sure, which picks you can sell, since you don't know which picks you will get at the end of the season. And we can't allow inter-league picks trading, to avoid collisions..

i am with Shaft, the idea in principle is a good one but cheating will destroy it for the good.

I dont want to see trading for cash, players only maybe 2 players max per manager per trade. a limit or cooling off period between trades so it cant be abused daily for example.

i would definitely like to see a trading system for drafts and if this trading goes ahead would prefer it stated with drafts as a test maybe extended to YPs.

Sorry to be negative, but I wouldn't like to see trading at all, in any form.

I think it's likely it will (as I've mentioned in other threads)unintentionally help make RZA a game for the few rather than a wide spectrum game for players of all skill level and committment.

The Game is FANTASTIC as it is, please don't impose too many major changes, just fine tune what is already here first.

Trading for picks could be a very very great cheating source.

For example, I tell to a friend to register the game, although he doesn't have any interest on it, he looses all the matches in his league and then he trade me all his picks before he left the game, easy to cheat.

A possible solution could be only trades can be done between manager who has 1-2 season experience in the game, or a minimum number of posts or something like that.

But I'm not pretty sure how we can avoid cheating in trades, it is very difficult

Agree 100%.

Sometimes striving for total realism is not a good thing... this is one area where that is the case.

We don't need trading.

Agree totally!

To many ways to abuse

To many thinking of player value by different users

Never can get into a fair und uncheatable system.
