i will admit that i am still trying to grasp how things should work so forgive me if i have misunderstood , on the topic of champs of champs bowl games . i do not see the reason for any bots being in on a championship bowl game, if there is a worthy runner up human owned team.

This was made to avoid any "infights"...imagine we have one Bowl winner less than needed. Now we pick 1 runnerup.. what are the criteria? What will the other 23 runnerups think? This is why bots are added

Bute I am open for any other suggestion.

i believe a simple point system based off of (Offense rating (1-16) would account for 15% of overall grade / Defense rating (1 -16) would account for 15% of overall grade / Special Teams rating (1-16) 15% of overall grade / Strength of Schedule would account for 50% of overall grade / maybe a activity rating would account for 5% of overall grade given) could work. just a question how many teams are invited to the champion bowl game ? and how many leagues are involved ?

Damn, I missed to answer here...

We could add such a system, even I don't fully understand the advantage compared to the actual solution. The actual solution is very clear, no advantage is provided by random, and the participating teams are worth to play the cup.

I would go with a clear, and simple rule and that's it.

No rating system.
At the end you have a mess like the BCS ...

If there is a BOT as a champion, let it be, because you never can prevent a team going BOT once the first games are scheduled, so why not simple accept the fact that there might be BOTs, which in 99% of all cases will be sorted out after the first round.

Yes, there might be a human team better to play there, but that and all others should have won their Bowls, instead of complain.
