I would go with a clear, and simple rule and that's it.
No rating system. At the end you have a mess like the BCS ... 
If there is a BOT as a champion, let it be, because you never can prevent a team going BOT once the first games are scheduled, so why not simple accept the fact that there might be BOTs, which in 99% of all cases will be sorted out after the first round. Yes, there might be a human team better to play there, but that and all others should have won their Bowls, instead of complain.  |
