What about adding a play action option to the playbook...

Play action versus defense expecting the run - increased chance of completion, increased yardage - the linebackers are committed to the run!

Play action versus blitz - increased chance of sack as QB takes a little long to set in the pocket

Play action versus defense expecting pass - reduced chance of completion, especially of shorter passes which require a quick throw from the QB

Food for thought?

Once again. There must be a mistake in the engine with medium passes.

10:50 1 and 10 to go on opp 48, Bailey Fraser (OC) snaps the ball to Devan Sutherland (QB), Devan Sutherland (QB) selected Matthew Kenyon (TE/R) as target, this medium inner right pass goes to the receiver, who catches the ball, Matthew Kenyon (TE/R) tackled by Gayle Skelton (OLB/L), forward progress: 1 yards (Big I formation vs. 4-3-4)

6:47 1 and 10 to go on opp 17, Bailey Fraser (OC) snaps the ball to Devan Sutherland (QB), Devan Sutherland (QB) selected David Hewitt (TE/L) as target, the receiver of this medium inner left pass catches the ball, David Hewitt (TE/L) tackled by Young Cantu (OLB/R), forward progress: 3 yards (Big I formation vs. 4-3-4)

1:27 1 and 10 to go on opp 20, Bailey Fraser (OC) snaps the ball to Devan Sutherland (QB), Devan Sutherland (QB) selected David Hewitt (TE/L) as target, the pass goes medium inner left to the receiver, who catches the ball, David Hewitt (TE/L) tackled by Jose Dunlap (OLB/R), forward progress: 2 yards (Big I formation vs. 4-3-4)

Are my players wrong or the engine. When I call a medium pass I don't expect a gain for 1-3 yards. This is not logical.

In fact it would be invaluable when building a play book to have some clear definition on passing target distances i.e. the primary receiver on a short/medium/long range pass is 0-5 yards / 6-14 yards / 15+ yards respectively(or some such).

Once more: It is not the players, and not the engine or the gameplay...it is simply a wrong put "medium" instead the "short". THat is the error mentioned several times, and still on todo. I found a small mistake on the part that puts the stats together after a play happened, but this was not the full thing.

I am trying this right now...and I found a mistake there, but now I need to find a solution, which seems not to be an easy task...

I have an idea, i want to fix here before i forget it. Actual are other topics more important, than this threat, but every body is welcome to discuss it.

Would it be possible to increase the overall catching succsess of receivers and the tackling ability for defenders?
I hope the result would be, that we get more catches which were stoppend immidiatly and less catches which end directly in a TD.
