When i look at the TM i se alot of ppl just bidding 1000 and i think that is just ridiculus, especially when we are talking about million-players.
So im suggesting to impleament when bidding on a player, that bid must be x% of the total bid. Example: If i wanna buy a player that team Y have put a bid with 4´000´000 on. My minimum bid would be 4´200´000, (thats 5% of 4 milions) instead of getting this player for 4´001´000. But this will only kick in if the price of the player reaches a specific value, ex 100´000. So every player that got current bids below this number will not be affected. If y then would like to bid more, his minimum must be 5% of the new bid, that is 4´200´000. If you want player you can use 50% everytime other is rais by 1000 |

Right now you is able to just bid 1000 even if a player got a current bid of 50´000 or 5´000´000. Im suggesting that if a player is below a certain bid, lets say 100´000 then you minimum bid is 1000 and the maximum bid is as it is today. if the price of a player goes over this sum, then this % will kick in. This % means that the minimum bid is increased from 1000 to a given number depending on the current bid of the player. It could be everything to 5-15%. So if i want to bid on a player that got a current bid of 5´000´000 then my minimum bid would need to be an increase with 5-15%*5´000´000=5´250´000-5´750´000. This % is something for you to decide peter, whatever nr you feel is good if this suggestion getting approved. so if i wanna bid on this player i must make a bid between 5´250´000-5´750´000, instead of the 5´001´000 as it is now. |

We both was short on money so increase by only 1000 gave the one with more money the chance to win When a automatic % raise would kick in several other things can happen Player goes to the team with less money because he can not be overbid by other manager because not enough for "forced rate" Player goes cheaper to a team then needed When look at the 20 Mill transfer we talk about 1 Mill forced raise minimum and it can be close race between 2 Managers Again: Even when one manager is raise for 1.000 only - the counter-bidder can always already increase for 50% and short the time. So i hope there out more that see current handling fine and turn down this suggestion On side note: i dont mind if it change - but it will be counterproductive for newer teams and for the fun and for some other reason i dont want to write because i will risk ban again |

I'm strongly against changing it too(maybe I'm usually against changing - it's because I think this site much better than Grid-Iron and I like it very much as it is). Adding this 5% will mean other increase in prices(at 5 mln 5% is just 250000).
And our swedish friend want it to be similar to Grid-Iron... |
