And our swedish friend want it to be similar to Grid-Iron...

Peloton-Game (a cycling manager sim) bumps the minimum for the next bid by 10%. It really speeds things along.

Of course, it's quite possible for managers to bump bids here, to, but we do tend to have marathons like this:

Leave it like it is.

or change it "ebay" style, you put in an maxoffer, i think it´s better cause of the timezones players have.

Just a suggestion.

Thanks

a) he could have come in anytime and increase by 50% what will speed up alot and this chance always exist!

900.000 - 901.000
1.450.000 - 1.451.000
2.100.000 - 2.101.000
3.100.000 - 3.101.000
4.500.000 - 4.501.000
6.660.000 - im out

it will be a matter of 12 Minutes only!

b) both - odula and me was short on money - so we both did not use bigger increases since none of us both liked to spend more than needed - so if you want to try to save, you need to invest time - as in real life^^

When i look at the TM i se alot of ppl just bidding 1000 and i think that is just ridiculus, especially when we are talking about million-players.

So im suggesting to impleament when bidding on a player, that bid must be x% of the total bid.

Example:

If i wanna buy a player that team Y have put a bid with 4´000´000 on.
My minimum bid would be 4´200´000, (thats 5% of 4 milions) instead of getting this player for 4´001´000.
But this will only kick in if the price of the player reaches a specific value, ex 100´000.
So every player that got current bids below this number will not be affected.

If y then would like to bid more, his minimum must be 5% of the new bid, that is 4´200´000.

not everyone has had chance to make money like u so i would keep it 1k per bid, i would like a ebay style for putting a maximum amount then drop out if exceeded.

i find it a little offensive and never realised this game had got so elitist already!! why take away the thrill for new players to join bid wars so moneybag teams can slap there insignificant percentage bid in!?

WOW @that Reinholdt Steel blitz..

Ok... I have yet to venture into the transfer market but that is ridiculous and I can see how that sort of system would totally lock people out just because they dont either have the time (we are people with lives) or patience to bid on that measure.

Someone suggested an ebay style format and I can go with that one. One major issue with the current system would definitely be the timezone differences and heightened inflation by overzealous managers out doing themselves in some sort of delusion of competition (sorta like the NBA lockout)...

I think an ebay system with a transfer window (maybe 2 or 3 days?) where a player is up for bid and all bids are silent (meaning no one knows what the other has bid).. at the end of those three days the highest bidder gets the man... I'm well aware this is against every rule in modern sports free agency but I think it would eliminate what the heck was going on with Reinholdt Steel and a players value will more accurately be represented in his purchasing price..

just a suggestion... but something does have to give..
