You talk that you have no cash and in the same time you buy a punter for 6,6 Mill. A Punter? not a QB. only a punter. I dont understand.
But do what you like to do.

Where do i say i have no money?

I say in past i could have more if

the manual was right for the building time issue
the fanshop item conversion would work correctly and i would not need to put again order for article

There is too much money in the game and i dare to spend 6,6 Mill for this punter crazy is it i know, but i wanted the punter - buy QB or so is easy but i follow other strategy to see if it can work out.

And i still have enough money to
invest in player
invest thursday and max my arena

But this is the plan now what could change when within 48 hours some other intersting player arrive on market.

And all this without be in any final!

So guess how much money other team may have

yeah.... transfer market has got to change.. I just scouted that dude and if you gotta pay 6mil for a punter in this juncture of the game.. we're gonna have serious issues come later.

I'm just thinking from a standpoint of inflation. I'm thinking there has to be some sort of checks and balance to the buying and selling aspect. I think a blind auction might better serve..

That Punter (Steel) would be easy to train as an OL (40+ Str, Block >12 already), for example.

The other Punter who sold about a week ago is now listed at QB, which is what I would have done with him.

And nice thing is, a QB or other regular position player won't be penalized for Punting, so he can actually do two jobs, even if he is never trained higher on his punting skill. That frees up a roster spot and a depth chart spot.

If prices stay up, it's really not so bad a buy. (Of course I paid $11M for a QB, so it looks reasonable to me.....atm.)

sorry - bit off topic...

Wise words dear Mr. Lee!

I look at Potential of player and not the status quo.

Your QB buy was a great move - my drafted RB is also already cinverting to QB.

But Stell has Kicker specific trait and he will not remodeled, more he will be trained also as Kicker to have one double-player with high salary saved

What manager oversee: this guys are bargain in salry even with 25 skill - 5000 per week are you kidding me? And as long you/me do retrain they still great at original positio

guys... I really cant debate for today as I'm sure you can justify a 6mil punter that is convertible but in terms of the future... I think we can see how all of this can flame up pretty bad.

The real-time aspect is going to be super tough because degrees of time zone differences and the blitz that is a bunch of bids flooding in for one player by the same managers.

I really think a simple solution is for the selling manager to set a minimum bid price.. and for all intended managers to send one anonymous bid to the seller and by the end of whatever closing date.. higher bid wins. I honestly cant think of another game or sport that does bidding like this.. but I can see too many quality managers loosing out because of really aggressive tactics.

But honestly I'm guessing this will curb once team's salaries start getting at their apex and managers have to be more prudent with their funds. I trust things will work themselves out in the end but in case they dont and cash is no longer important.. there's gotta be some other checks to the system.

I hope you are right, and the system will self-correct, as I think the prices are silly, too.

I may regret my $11M QB, or he may turn out to be one of my best purchases ever....we won't know until the market sorts itself out, and I doubt it will sort out for a while. I posted in the Likes/Dislikes thread I thought there was a bit too much $$ in the game.

I pull in $6.5/league home game (from tickets/sponsor/fanshop). Half that for Supercup games. This weekend I'll have >$14M, and I'll finish my stadium, which will add another $2M+ per home league game and $1M per Supercup.

That's ~$13M on weeks I host a league game.

The counter argument is we will need all that revenue to pay player salaries once they start maxing out on training. I don't doubt that, but in the meantime.....

Just a small note: prices can't be silly, the market determines the price itself...much interest - high price. This is working since 200 years, and our american "imperialists" know that

Well, sure 6 million sounds like a lot, but in relative terms it won't be. When there is a lot of owners (in the near future) who have stadiums that put out 8 mill a game in ticket sales then that 6 mil might even be a good deal.

Prices can only go up so much. The guys spending 6 million on that player are the ones with maxed stadiums already. Their income can't go up more than it already is. The money they spend now is less they have saved for later when other owners catch up in income. Right now it just favors those owners who built stadiums up first.

I do find the humor in that the op is the one out of everyone who suggested the min percent increase. The biggest tm spender wants to up it? Of course he does, it favors him right now so he doesn't have to wait around. I see this suggestion as very one sided to the haves at the moment and I don't see how it makes the game better for everyone.
