As there is a clock on offensive playbook, there should be also on defensive playbook in order to counter time management orders from opponent... As an example, I have an opponent who is playing shotgun 4WR pass on last minute of the quarter. And I can't put a rule for my defense against that...

No thought about this? For me it's a crucial point as you can manage your defensive team regarding time whereas you can do it with your offense...

TBH: For me this is not "the most crucial thing" at the moment. But this doesn't mean a yes or no from my side

Personally it doesn't affect my strategies as I focus on what offensive set they have first and foremost. In the future I will take into account the score and yards to go.

If a team is playing for example rush on Shotgun 4WR all game and that his last two minute settings is pass shotgun 4WR, you'll be dead with your rush defense cause you can't input time in your defensive playbook

I guess I favor defending the pass with a 4 wr shotgun.

Yep but if the guy is running all quarter in Shotgun 4WR, your defense will go against rush... And you'll be on rush mode for the last 2 minutes

If his playbook (to be simple is)
any quarter, any down, Shotgun 4WR, rush
and his other rules is
any quarter, any down, <240s, Shotgun 4WR, pass

You'll play always on rush defense because there will be much more rushes than passes. And you can do nothing about it (encountered it with an opponent)

Yep, true!

But: would you add a rule "defend vs pass during last 2 minutes", when you are defending vs rushing all game long?
