Hi was thinking a lot about it today because I was bothered by something and I finally found why...
- As we discussed on the forum months ago, a guy with 50 speed or catching should always have 50 speed or catching, whatever his position on the field... So a reduction of skills isn't the best solution IMO. - The out of position penalty is needed in this game as most of the managers agree. - A CB should have less penalty playing SF than playing QB. So, I came with one suggestion in order to implement a "fair" out-of-position penalty : - Having a new rating in Players called "Positional Experience" which would affect his playing. Example : A CB plays : - CB - - > 5 stars - SF - - > 3 stars - QB - - > 0,5 stars |

Not a bad idea. What should the positional experince influence in the game? Skill (i think not), TC, Experience, Moral?

I don't know what's possible and how it could be implemented... But that would be a more realistic view of the sport...

And that way maybe a Kicker could be a 4,5 star P so you have a really slight penalty but you have one when playing the same guy

5 stars 100% TC, 100% Moral, 100% Experience 4 stars 80% TC, 80% Moral, 80% Experience 3 stars 70%TC, 70% Moral, 70% Experience 2 stars 60% TC, 60% Moral, 60% Experience 1 star 50% TC, 50% Moral, 50% Experience |

And to go the easiest way, it could be shown in the DC when putting a player out of position...
