I have to know some basic facts first.
But be asured: I will never ever raise the number of FAs ONLY...You might get those newbees, by eating some "downside"... We have two issues: some managers are "yelling" for more FAs, while others want to have a better chance to get one...Only raising the count wouldnt help! |

right Pete... the way I see it
Problem 1: The bidding process itself. Problem 2: Not enough FA in the transfer market to even begin to adequately cover demands. The problems are mutally exclusive. But if one HAD to be addressed first.. I'd got with problem 1 only because when it came to high talent too many are at a disadvantage through no fault of their own. |

I've thought about this and came up with an idea:
After the deadline is over, there is no "free bidwar time" anymore, no extending the deadline every 2 minutes for every new bid made. Rather extend the deadline for like 10 minutes (or more or less?). In these 10(?) minutes only the managers who bid at least once on the player during his bidding peroid, has the ability to make 1 final bid, so 1 final offer for the player. These final offers are kept private, not visible to others, so no intentional overbidding is possible. Kind of like a private negotiation. At the end, whoever made the last biggest offer gets the player. Edit: It could also have a rule to limit the final bidding. So it shouldn't go from 100k (at the end of the deadline) to 10m (in the private bidding) just because someone has a lot of money to burn. Edit2: Looking back at the voting going on right now, even 12 hours could be a good time for the private negotiations. It would fix the timezone issue at least. Nice player, but too expensive for me. I backed out after 2.5 million. |

the speed is capped still happy enough he was the 1st player i have bought in RZA and got annoyed by some guy upping the bids by 1k each time so got caried away still got 48mil sat there not doing much so if im online at the end for a decent player i dont mind paying lots of money. the economy is completely different to -TOG-and 7 million is the equivilent of 500k over there IMO so not overspending considering the lack of talent available in the market when im online
