as i got it, he is asking if cap is given totally randomly, or there is bigger chance to get a cap at 40 than at 50.

No I think he wants to know if the current players have in % less 40+ capped players then new created ones in the future.

My expcecation is for talent there are not statistically same chance to get talent over all stages (0,5, 1, 1,5 up to 4, 4,5, 5 talent) so i say 5 star talent is smaller chance than 4,5 talent, smaller than 4 star and so on Same goes for "caps" - smallest chance to get a player with "hid cap" at 50, then a light higher for 49 and so on increaing even more the lower the cap is |

Basically, and that is my opion, not fact, I think player creation is based on some random events.
1. random talent 2. random speed cap 3. random strength cap 4. random agility cap 5. random int 6. random TW 7. random exp 8. random special trait Depended on the "market" (Transfer market, draft youth pull, initial roster) some values are between some values fixed, some are for every player the same boundries. And all random events are probably gaussian, means low chance getting the smallest values, high chance getting the middle value, low chance getting the highest value. All values are between 1-50 and some are then translated to stars. |

I think the chance to get a player with very good skill caps is higher for players from the Draft than from the transfermaket.
So you get every season 2-3 players with "starpotencial" and the rest of your squad will be "normal" guys. With a little bit of luck you can train a "normal" player to a star. |
