Yeah, there is the "wait until the last second and put a $1k bid in to extend the auction" strategy.

I guess my feeling is that auction shouldn't last 15 minutes - - why waste everybody's time.

15 minutes? Heck I've had some go for 45+ minutes a few times.

Yes, Peter, thank you for making it .org and not having anything about "game" in the title or otherwise I'd be blocked at work. lol

Another option is to limit the number of bids you get...although I'm not a big fan of that personally.

I'd prefer this method over the current TM...

Edit: Altough on second thought not so much...the first bidder could never win if every bidder used up all their chances

My monthly rate is $45 a month. Is that really a lot cheaper?

Well when look at ads in nfl network it sounds really cheaper

you pay over here in germany around 40$ for 500 MB data and flat phone call within germany

But my business rate is around 90$ with 1 GB data

So in total i have enough for some bid wars

No

volume you can retrieve over month with 3G = 84mbit/s is limited to 500 MB (private) or 1 GB business

Each additional GB you want goes for additional 8-12 $ per month then

And 3G is available only in big cities and most common is EDGe with 200 kbit/s

4G is future over here in germany for mobile device - germany is slow like turtles are
